"Good morning. My name is Kozume Y/n. Nice to meet you all!" I say to my future classmates.

I could feel they're stares boring into my soul...

"Alright Kozume-chan, you may go sit over there, next to Hinata-kun." The teacher told me.

"Yes ma'am." I respond.

I walk from my spot at the front of the class and head over to an orange haired boy raising his hand.

Taking my seat next to the boy, I could feel him stare at me. The rest of the class seemed to be minding themselves and focusing on class.

"Hello?" I question the staring boy.

"Oh sorry! I just noticed the clip you have in your hair...It's very pretty." He blushed a bit.

"Thank you...my brother gave it to me."

"Hmm...Oh! I'm Hinata Shōyō by the way!"

"Nice to meet you Hinata. I'm Kozume Y/n."

"Nice to meet you too Kozume." The boy answered with a smile plastered on his face.

"Umm...can you just call me Y/n? I like it better." I requested.

"Eh- Are you okay with that? I don't want to be disres-"

"Yes Hinata...it's fine." I cut him off, a smile appearing on my face from his respectfulness.

I turn back to the board and attempt to understand what is going on. I was a new student after all...

"I can help you find your next class if you want Y/n?" Hinata asked as we packed up our things.

"Please? Thank you so much!" I exclaim.

A hopeful friend...

That's good I think!

"Alright! Here show me your schedule so I find the class."

I pass him the folded paper and watch as he opens it to inspect it.

"Woah! Y/n we have most of our classes together!" He announces as we walk out of the class doors.

"Really? Isn't that too much of a coincidence?" I question.

"Yeah it is pretty weird...but it's still cool though! Here follow me!" He says, grabbing a hold on my hand and bringing me along with him.

We zigzag through a couple hallways to our next class. I once again told the teacher I was new and was told to announce my presence to the class.

Hinata would give me encouragement from where he was sitting and I would gain more confidence.

He continued helping me to each of my classes which was nice.

Our last class we had together so he walked me to it. It was quite peaceful until I heard,...

"Hey dumbass wait for me!" I heard someone shout.

Startled from the sudden yelling, I froze and slowly turned around along with Hinata.

"Oh! Hi Kageyama!" Hinata said waving at the jogging boy.

"You idiot why didn't you meet up with me?"

He hasn't seemed to notice my presence yet...

"Sorry! I'm helping around a new student!" He explained, pulling my hand a bit to bring me next to him.
