The next few months flew by and then it was December first. I pulled out the box that had the few decorations for the station. I went upstairs and found the box of magnets that she got as a joke two years ago I went over to the fridge and put up the naughty and nice long magnets. I pulled out the bottle caps with names on them and then there it was simple numbers 2.0 in her writing. I smiled and put it right above the nice sign and then I went around and put up some other things. A week had passed and we moved the magnets to mess with each other. I was on the couch scrolling on my phone and a guy came upstairs
" Hello I'm looking for captain Nash I'm a transfer "
" hi "
He said from the kitchen and I could hear them talking then I heard him laugh
" Are you serious "
I looked up and he was looking at the fridge
" where are you from "
I said walking over
" oh I'm from station 3 in Nevada who's idea was this "
He pointed at it then he grabbed one off and healed it up to me and said
" yeah you look like a Dallas "
" he's over there actually "
" oh "
He said and put it back and I walked away. The rest of the day was slow and we had to tell him what we were doing and how we do them here. The next day when the bell went off and on the way to the truck I looked at her picture on the wall and blew a kiss for good luck. The call was quick a mall Santa fainted me and hen were standing at the counter talking about what he said in the ambulance and then I noticed that someone moved her magnet to the naughty and would out thinking I said
" who the hell moved it "
I looked around and everyone put their hands up and then I landed on Matt
" what I haven't seen him do anything "
" she has done more than you will ever do in your life "
He got up and started to was to the outlet and he said
" well "
" well that's my wife and we lost her a few months back "
He plugged in his phone and it shocked him and I couldn't help but think about what she said about giving a little spark
" what's so funny "
" nothing dude "
I moved the magnet back.
