A week and a half later Everything was too bright , her eyes felt very sensitive. Her vision was a bit blurry, she couldn't tell where she was. She began to blink rapidly hoping that would help her out. Once she could see normally she realized she was in a white room that didn't smell pleasantly. There was a beeping sound every other second.
That was when she looked to her side , she instantly grew soft at the sight. In the chair beside her slept Erick , to her he looked peaceful. But , he was a wreck , anxious for her to wake up. Now that she did he was asleep. Rosalie began to lift her arms but , she couldn't due to the IV's , she wanted to touch him.
" Erick." She croaked , her voice cracking and sounding groggily. Her throat was dry and she needed water as soon as possible.
" Erick." She called out again, her throat slightly itching this time around.
He moved slowly and groaned. His eyes then began to flutter open. The girl couldn't help but smile at the sight of those jade eyes. Erick looked over to the girl and his eyes widen.
" R-Rosalie ?" He asked while sitting up straight.
" yes." She spoke softly.
" Let me go get the doctor and some water." The boy said excitedly running out of her room and turning the corner.
Soon Erick came back with the doctor and he had the biggest smile.
" We're glad to see that your finally awake , your friend here has been waiting this whole time. We shall call your mother and run more test on you." The doctor said before walking out.
" How do you feel?" Erick asked sitting back on the cheer.
The girl smiled but , then it faded. She remembered why she was here in the first place. The boy sighed already knowing what she was thinking about.
" Rosa listen to me , I never wanted to hurt you nor will. Nadia tricked me she set it all up. She placed something in my drink that knocked me out. I'm so sorry , I'm sorry you went through all of this. Please you have to believe me." He spoke with all honesty.
" It's okay , I believe you." The girl replied and he smiled once more.
" Don't ever do this again , you are very loved. Don't think you aren't." The boy scolded her and she slightly laughed but , nodded.
—⋆✧ Erick was catching Rosalie up about school and explaining to her how he has spring break planned for the two of them. Suddenly her mom and sister walked in.
" Mi hija." Her mother ran in hugging her the best she can.
" we love you Rosalie and you know that." Her sister spoke getting emotional.
" I'll give you guys a moment , Rosa I'll be back." The Cuban spoke as the girl nodded.
The girl's mother smirked.
" What ?" Rosalie questioned.
" What's going on with you and Erick ?"
" he's my friend." The girl sighed.
" really ? Because he told me he was in love with you. Also the way he has been crying all these days and coming here to be with you until you woke up."
" what ?!" Rosalie asked in shock.
" you didn't hear this from me , just give him time."
Eventually Erick came back with some food. Rosalie couldn't help but think about what her mother had said, was he really in love with me, she thought to herself.
