It's either let her go or hold her with everything you have. It's whether stay with him or leave to overseas. It's now or never! Pride or love? Confession or partition. It's time for Serkan and Eda make their final decision. The game is over!
Sekan keeps calling her name and touching her face to bring some consciousness to her. She has her eyes wide open, her heart beating loud yet she was unresponsive.
"Eda please say something!" He said with a breaking voice from the fear of something happening to her!
That very breaking voice called out the night before, in the living room sofa when he suffered from severe fever. She remembered his breaking and pained voice. The fear of him being alone in that painful time awakened all of her consciousness.
"Serkan?" She breathed out his name.
"Oh Thank Goodness!" His palm all over her checks and face,
"You're here!" Pulling her close to his chest,
"You are okay!" Kissing her head and hair unconsciously and uncontrollably.
"I am okay!" She said and withdrew herself from his arms. Standing by her own legs, she continues "I'm fine!"
A minute passes by with no word being said and Serkan constantly scans her face and body for any sign of pain and discomfort. And that gave Eda a minute to recall her memories and what just happened.
When 'I madly fell in love with you' played in her mind, a genuine ear to ear smile ripped her lips with her white perfect teeth and deep dimples flushing while her cheekbones turned tomato red. She was so happy and she started looking down as she enjoyed the words in repeat as a song in her ears.
Serkan, noticing Eda coming back to her senses, he took a step forward to her. He puts his fingers in her chin very gently as if she would break or her color would be ruined if he touched her a bit more, he raised her face up to look at her eyes. Her eyes are smiling and bright the same way it blinds him with love. Her dimples are so deeply vivid that he wanted to live there. She is glowing like a star in the sky. Everything darkened and she was the light of his life.
"Eda yildizm" 'Eda my star' he breathed without realization.
He raised his fingers a bit higher to touch her cheeks, when his trembling fingers lay on her burning hot checks, once again he became blind and his air was cut. He couldn't breath but he was so fine with that. If he dies, here, right now he would be the first man to leave earth with so much happiness in his heart. He felt like he would burst. When she tried to hide her smile and close her lips together, the small dimples that created near to her lips called him out loud. Without noticing he leans to her and she does the same.
Before their lips could meet, something brought Eda to reality. Selin! The ex-girlfriend of Serkan Bolat and the nightmare and reality of Eda Yildiz. She remembered how she misunderstood that night when he was suffering from fever and love pain, she assumed it was Selin, but it was herself. And because of that very tough night of Serkan, she silenced her heart with all silencers and went to Selin to tell her to go back to Serkan. Just before heading back home to get her luggage she has gone to Selin to tell her he still loves her. She thought she was giving the man she loved his love back while she was always next to him. Her misinterpretation of the signs and words have caused her biggest mistake of her life.
How can she be with Serkan? when she made Selin break up with her fiancé to go back to Serkan. What right would she have? What kind of person would it make her? To ruin a girl's life. How can she take both Ferit and Serkan out of Selin's life. She can't! She can't be with Serkan. After she separated Selin for the very cause of Serkan's love for her. In the end, Selin is also a girl with a heart suffering from love. Eda could not be that selfish, she can't be that cruel. No matter how much she wants the Serkan who is glowing right in front of her eyes, she can't kill Selin's dream and heart because of her impulsive mistake.
She took a step backward.
"No!" She said.
Looking at Serkan's shocked face. "No, this can't be true!" She started tearing.
"Serkan, I- I..." she couldn't even make a sentence.
"Eda! It doesn't matter! I'm here, asking you to stay! Don't worry about anything!" he affectionately held her hands and tried to calm her with his soft words and gentle caress on her hand.
Swinging her head from left to right. She took her hand away from him.
"Serkan, Selin, I thought you loved h-"
"No Eda, I don't love Selin! I'm in love with you Eda Yildiz!" He confessed again, assuring her that Eda is the one whom he fell for.
Eda looked at his eyes deeply like a lost and hurt puppy, "I can't," she said.
"I can't hurt Selin like that after I broke her up with Ferit for you" her tears fall down.
Serkan was not processing anything he was standing there like a statue.
"I can't! Forgive me Serkan Bolat" she said and ran back to her taxi. The taxi drove off.
Just like a shooting star who lit up his sky, filled him with joy and granted him his wish, she disappeared before his eyes. Leaving her dust everywhere but her light nowhere to be seen.
