*Beep* *Beep* *Beep*
The same damn noise, every morning. Rosie was sick and tired of hearing that same noise, over and over again. She made a low groan noise, leaned over, and turned off the alarm clock that was on a pink bin by her bed. She reached over and grabbed her tablet off the desk that was next to her bed to check Instagram (look at memes). She sighed as she looked around her room. It was 7 'o clock in the morning and she was so annoyed by how bright it was in her room. She had two windows in which it was constantly bright every time of the day, whether morning or evening, cloudy or not. She had begged and asked her parents for blackout curtains, they told her w okhen they bought the house. She shook her head and plopped back on her bed. It was the weekend and she wondered why she even had her alarm on. Then she remembered she forgot to turn it off before she went to bed. She sighed and slowly got out of bed. She loved the weekends, it was the only time she could actually relax and not worry about anything....that was a lie. She got dressed into some lazy clothes and walked downstairs, hoping to have a little bit to play games. She was wrong. She walked downstairs to find her younger half brother, George playing videogames.
It wasn't any videogame, it was Fortnite. He was obsessed with playing and would scream and cry everytime he didn't get to play. His bitchiness is usually what gave Rosie so much stress. Usually, she would have preferred to wake up to dark storm clouds and hear the sounds of rain and thunder. She generally liked the dark better and preferred to hear the rain than videogames. She always hoped that there would be rain. She loved the rain so much. The pitter patter of the rain soothed her and she loved to listen to music and listen to the rain when going to sleep. While she was getting lost in her thoughts she subconsciously walked into the kitchen for some food. She could eat anytime, any day, anywhere. She loved food and would die for food.
As she was looking for food she heard her Dad walk downstairs, dressed for work. As he walked over instead of a 'good morning' like she was expecting, all she got was "remember to take your medication and you need to empty the dishwasher." She just sighed and said yeah. She was always concerned for everyone else, but rarely anyone was concerned for her. The only people were her closest friends. Other than that, almost no one cared. She would later come to realize they only cared when it came to their family status. She would later come to realize that the only thing her parents ever cared about was the brat she called a brother and credibility.
After she emptied the dishwasher, Rosie went back up to her room. She ignored the medication. She had been perfectly fine without it before she was emitted so why did she need to take them now. She could just say she forgot about it. She knew her step-mom worked later that night so she didn't need to worry about being caught. So she went back upstairs and locked herself in her room. She connected her bluetooth earbuds and listened to music and read a book.
