So... If you cannot think up ideas at all, here are a few neat strategies you could use to combat lack of ideas.
Strategy 1: The Strategic Route
1. Think up anything you feel as significant and write it down
2. Write down thoughts
3. Poof! Ideas!
Strategy 2: Book Cover Strategies
1: Look up a book cover picture you like and generate ideas from it.
2: Imagine a character in the place depicted on the cover, and write about it.
3: Pick a picture of a book cover online and apply a filter to it, use that picture to inspire yourself
4: Look at the cover from many different angles, having a different view could give you an idea.
Strategy 3: Fanfiction
1. Look up the character in question, Then write just plain anything. Doing so generates fanfic.
3. Look at existing fanfic for that character, see if its relevant. Write about it and add your ideas to it, but don't blatantly plagiarize their work.
4. Try to see what your thoughts are for the character, if any write them as a chart or something. Use this as a starting point.
5. make an OC from your thoughts and feelings of being in their universe.
Strategy 5: Musical
1. Listen to your favorite song on your favorite music platform. Write to the tune.
2. Listen to new music. You could gain more ideas by listening to music you haven't listened before, regardless if you like it.
3. If the song has words, think of the words used and re-arrange them or refresh your ideas with them.
Strategy 6: Randomness
1. just think, and if anything looks good/feels good write it down.
2. Slam write (i.e. write down anything that pops into your head as a sentence or chapter)
3. Get inspired by other wattpadders.
4. Anything else?
