Alexa put a pile of clothes on her bed and starts looking for something to wear, she throws them all at Katie once she looks at them and doesn't like them.

Alexa: I have nothing to wear!

Katie: you have my dress

Alexa looks at Katies dress and she doesn't want to wear it.

Lori comes in.

Lori: so, good news about school, right?

Alexa immediately looked at the notes Lori is holding.

Alexa: what's that?

Lori: just some notes from your doctor

Alexa: what notes?

Lori: let's remember we just heard good news

Alexa: yeah great, what notes?

She grabs the notes and looks at them.

Alexa: "come right home when school ends, no extracurricular activities"

Alexa looks at her mom sad but angry.

Lori: it's just a few precautions

Alexa: "no physical activities" mom, that means no basketball

Lori: well, you could be the team manager, you know, do the roster, manage stuff

Katie: you could glitter your clipboard

Alexa looks at Katie mad that she's helping her mom instead of her, I looked at her in disgust.

Katie: glitter's awesome

Lori: look, not every kid gets clearance from their doctor, to go back to school this early, your lucky

Alexa: lucky? that means no sports, dances, being in plays, all that leaves is going to class, like, the worst part of school

I kept looking on and off on my phone cause I had to go soon. Later Lori walks out the room and I stopped zoning out, I headed over to Alexa.

Jazmine: we're starting school together! you wanna celebrate?

Alexa stand up.

Alexa: yeah, let's do something our moms will hate
