As the company is led across the bridge into the Woodland Realm Fili nudges his younger brother who was boring a hole into Legolas' back as he walked beside Adrianna, speaking to her in Elvish. "Do not let your temper cause you strife. Of course she is friendly with him" Fili spoke in a whisper, adding on, "He is a prince of the Woodland Realm and she a princess of the Lorien woods, brother." Kili just shot his brother a look and turned his gaze back to the girl who made his heart pound. He desperately wanted to know what the two were saying, but the conversation stopped as Legolas called to the gate guards, "Holo in ennyn." (Close the gate.) The elves took the dwarves down into the dank and dark dungeons pushing them all into cells except for Thorin and Adrianna, who would speak with King Thranduil. Kili calls out from his cell door, "Adria!" She glances back at the brunet dwarf as the red haired elf approached him. Suddenly she felt a strange anger rise in her chest at the proximity of the elf to her dwarf. She paused for a moment as she realized she had just thought of Kili as hers. Then they were out of sight of the company.

Thorin and Adrianna were brought into the throne room where Thranduil stands and descends the stairwell facing the two. "Some may imagine that a noble quest is at hand. A quest to reclaim a homeland and slay a dragon." The king spoke looking at Thorin closely. He continues on speaking of the Arkenstone and the precious gems that he desired. "I will let you go, if you but return what is mine." The king continues as his eyes flicker to Adrianna for a moment before looking back at the dwarf. "A favor for a favor." Thorin answers turning from the elf king. "You have my word. One king to another." Thorin stops and stands facing away from Thranduil and then begins speaking his voice getting louder and louder as he replied, "I would not trust Thranduil, the great king, to honor his word should the end of all days be upon us!" He then spins around shouting louder, "You lack all honor! We came to you once, starving, homeless, seeking your help, but you turned your back. You turned away from the suffering of my people and the inferno that destroyed us!" Adrianna stared at the dwarf king in surprise, for she had not heard the tale of the elves abandoning the dwarves in their time of need. Her eyes widen even further at the next words that left Thorin, "Imrid amrad ursul!" (Die a death of flames!)

Thranduil was outraged and ranted to Thorin about dragons he had faced and then sent him to the dungeons with the others. Thorin glanced nervously at Adrianna wondering if she would make a deal and betray them, or if she would stay true to her word and help them. Once alone the elf king turns his gaze upon the small female now standing alone in the room. "Preditham hi sui vellyn?"(May we speak as friends?) Thranduil asks, his face softening only slightly before adding, "Man cerig Naugrim, Luthien?"(What are you doing with dwarves, Adrianna?) She thought a moment about how to answer, cunning and diplomacy would be helpful, she truly however wanted to curse him. "Am man?"(Why?) she asks carefully. "They are a deceitful race and you know this, only caring for there gold." Thranduil answers in aggravation at her question. "Ah! You forget though that I am dwarf just as I am elf." Adrianna says with an edge creeping into her voice as anger rises in her chest. "Leithio nin Thranduil!"(Release us) She then shouts at the king's back as he walks back to his throne. "Help me regain what is mine and I will let you all go," he says in confidence that she will do as her asks. Adrianna's blood boils at the ease in which Thranduil believes she would betray her company. "Pe-channas! Dol gin lost, Elven King!"(Idiot! Your head is empty) she suddenly shouts narrowing her eyes at him. "Nin gwerianneg, Luthien. Take her away."(You betray me, Adrianna) Thranduil hisses with venom as the guards grab her by the arm.

The dwarves talk amongst themselves about what Thorin told the elf king and what Adrianna might be telling him. "She wouldn't betray us." Kili says speaking up for the absent company member. Thorin growls out in frustration, "She is elf, you know not what she will do." Kili's anger towards his uncle's distrust gets the better of him and he growls back threateningly, "She is dwarf as well uncle, she is here to help us." Silence then falls as they hear guards approaching. The red headed elf whom they learned was called Tauriel along with another guard come into sight dragging the small form of there female companion. They ungracefully toss her into a cell at the end of the hall near Fili and then begin to walk away. "Sevig thu orch!"(You smell like an orc) They hear her shout banging against her bars. Thorin is quick to question her, "What did you tell him? Did you make a deal? Speak, woman!" Adrianna laughs lightly for a moment before answering. "No Thorin I did not make a deal, I did however tell him a few things." The group holds there breath waiting for her to reveal what she had told the king. "I told him that he was an idiot and that his head was empty. Oh, and that the guards smell like Orcs." She laughed again as the company lets out a sigh.
