It was around 10:34 p.m when Zahra stormed into her apartment, slamming the door behind her slightly awaking Paris. She stripped pieces of clothing as she made her way towards the bathroom.

Earlier today after her afternoon classes, she went to her second job a well-known veterinian clinic that was near the North side. Basically the burbs of the burbs where all the rich folks lived.

At the time her shift was almost over and her day was going good until a rude older white lady came in with her dog. The clinic was private, so it didn't do walk-ins unless it was emergency but this lady thought she was so damn special that the rules should be broken just for her.

When Zahra explained them to her, she demanded to see the manager claiming Zahra was uneducated and she needed to speak to someone above her. This was a regular occurence and over the years Zahra had to learn to not react if she wanted to keep her job. It took all her patience and a few prayers for her not to snap on the ugly ass lady that obviously was begging to get her ass whopped.

Sure stripping paid her bills really well might I add but she couldn't do that forever and well this was her real passion. If she reacted they would quickly label her as the angry black woman, and unfortunately she needed to keep a foot in the vet business.

A slightly calmer Zahra stepped out of the shower tightly wrapping a small towel around herself letting the steam flow out the bathroom. She went over to the mirror and did her quick skin routine before walking into the room.

She lazily mosturized her body, wrapped her hair before putting on a oversized t-shirt, and climbing into bed. She was definetely ready to just sleep knowing that she had no work or school tomorrow.

Across town Ace tiredly walked into his home locking the door before, plupping down onto the sofa. The house was commonly silent which he held no problem with, this was just what he needed after a long day. Being a busiuness owner was no fucking joke.

First one to arrive and last to leave.

With the amount of clients he had today, his hands felt as if they would fall off and his whole body was sore. Gathering enough strength, he pushed himself towards the bathroom where he stripped and took a quick shower.

Falling into bed, he picked up his phone and began to call his mom although it was late, he had promised himself to return her call. It rang for a few seconds before a cheery voice spoke through the speaker. This brought a tired smile to his face within miliseconds.

What? He was a momma's boy and had no shame whatsover about it.

"Nasir Amari Williams" he winced hearing her call out his full name.

"Would it kill your black ass to call your precious mother reguarly or am I gon' have to beat your ass" she spoke obviously fake mad making him let out a laugh.

"Am sorry ma, you know the shop keeps me busy 25/8"

"Blah blah blah, it's always that damn shop when are you gon' live life Nas. It's always work work, baby you gotta live out your young years while you still gotta em." She began her lecture as he rolled his eyes.

"Yo- yes ma am sorry, business been picking up lately, but I will make time to call you regualary ok?" He hurriedly spoke hoping to get her lecture short now that sleep was nagging at him.

"Boy don't cut me off, but I can hear that sleep through the phone so call me back in the AM ok?"

"Yes ma'am" His eyes slowly closing.

"Alright baby talk to you later." As soon as the phone cut off he rolled to the side chucking his phone under his pillow, not bothering to plug it in. Am a regret that tommorow but whatever. Sleep slowly overcame him guiding him to a peaceful abiss.

. . . .
Am back!!
