Phone Call

Azura: Uy, lapit na competition niyo, right?
Mark: Yes, babe. Are you going to watch? (silence) But if you can't, ayos lang naman.
Azura: I'll try, babe. Hindi ko pa kasi sure... Pero gusto ko talaga. (whines)
Mark: (laughs) Sapat na sa 'kin na alam kong gusto mo.
Azura: You can be a flirt when you want to, ano?
Mark: (laughs) Are you doing something right now?
Azura: Wala... Kakatapos ko lang kumain ng dinner.
Mark: Good, then.
Mark: Can we talk a little longer on the phone, instead of texting? Gusto ko pang marinig boses mo...
Azura: Nervous ka, 'no?
Mark: Kind off... This is international. I don't want to mess it up.
Azura: I know you won't. Saka whenever you feel nervous, remember that we're all cheering for you.
Azura: Saka hindi mo naman kailangan manalo. The fact that you're a contestant at the international competition, already makes us proud.
Azura: Kelan ba ang alis niyo?
Mark: You're so fucking supportive. I really love you.
Azura: (squeals) Pa-fall! Pero kelan nga?
Mark: February 2 daw. The competition is on February 5. Gusto kasi ni coach na makapaglibot din kami.
Azura: Ah... I'll try to come, okay?
Mark: You're not obligated to. Saka may pasok kayo.
Azura: I know. (whines) Pero gusto ko talaga manood.
Mark: Okay, okay... But if you really can't go, don't worry. Hindi naman required, okay?
Azura: Fine.
Mark: (laughs) I love you.
Azura: I love you, too.
