Final

Loud cheers can be heard from 500 m away. Tired, she let out of huge moan. There are three more TK 2 next to her right. She's at the left which is the horrible place... Ever since they were the closest one to the river bank. "Come on Arris. We can do this!" Shawn said. There's also a sign that shown he's tired too. We've been here for hours now. Waiting for our names to come up, heat up, help the other members of the team, heat up again. It was so tiring with all the shouting, the running back to the tent and go back to the drop place. Now, Arris and Shawn are selected to be at the final. Those shouting and yelling weren't helped either. When people are tired, they just want peace but hey this is competition. Arris let out a big sigh and replied: "I know but we've been here from 8 in the morning, SHARP and now it's 2 in the evening!" Mood.

"It's not like something we rarely do, Arris." He said, rolled his dark brown eyes. Shawn is an American mixed Malaysian... Born and raised at Oslo, Norway before moved to Malaysia. His parents are busy couples. Shawn barely sees them. Most of the time spend at Arris place. Arris is Singaporeans mixed Korean. Sad things are that she never been to either Singapore and North Korea. Arris parents work at a normal place. Her dad is a chef at a hotel and her mother is a wife house. They all are used to Shawn showed up at their doorstep like a lost kid. Sometimes Shawn will complain about how he is SO jealous with Arris parents. 'It sucks to be me! My parents are like transparent to me! I rarely see them! Every morning all I got is the same texts and notes saying; home late, I have to go to overseas, sorry couldn't make it to your games, nice jobs son! And all of that like it matters.' It sucks to be Shawn. Arris parents always there for her, if her dad had to go overseas he'll come home and talk about everything that he does there! DETAILS! Always make it to her games sometimes training!

"From Pontian (Pon-tee-yan) TK 2 mixed canoe number 1 is Lidia Effendi (Ef-fan-di) and her partner Haiqal (Hai-Karl) Iskandar (Is-can-dar)." The announcement had started shown that the final game is about to begin.

"From Bakar Batu (Ba-car Ba-two) TK 2 mixed canoe number 2 is Shafiq Amin ( Sha-fiq a-min) and his partner Intan Nordeen (In-tan Nor-deen)" The announcement continued. 'They only two-row from me and Shawn. They are powered!' Arris talked to herself. "We can beat them this time!" Shawn said. Eyeing the powerful partners.

"From Kota Tinggi (Co-ta Thing-gi) TK 2 mixed canoe number 3 Stefan Lee and his partner Yin Lee"

"From Kulai TK 2 mixed canoe number 4 Arris Aiden and her partner Shazmie Abdul Iman (Shaz-mee Ab-dul E-man)." Shazmie 'Shawn' Bin Abdul Iman. That's his real name. His mother is American and his father is Malaysian.

After a few minutes later (with all the correction with our canoe position) there is loud air horn sound which meant the final game had begun. They sprint as fast as they could but the canoe number 2 is way ahead of them, leaving them 2 canoes away. The other 2 canoes were behind them, trying to pass over them.

"UP!" Arris command. They sprint even harder and faster. Only 1 canoe away and it hit 200 m. Maybe they'll make it? Canoe number 2 still ahead of them. From their movement, from the paddle to the body it all same. Only one thing that makes Arris and Shawn stay behind them is their waves. Their movements created strong waves that could flip Arris and Shawn canoe over. If they flip over (fall) they'll be disqualified. It's every canoe or kayakers worst nightmare. Again they tried to stay stable while trying to cut them. 100 m reached. "UP ARRIS WE'RE ALMOST THERE!" Shawn yelled. "POWER! USE POWER!" They heard their coach yelling at them.

With all the less they have left, they decided to all out. In a skip a beat they are passed over the canoe mixed sprinter. They won the final. "YES!" Shawn cheering. "Come on let's park first." They paddle slowly under the bridge to the platform. "WE WON!" Dina jumping and hugging Arris.  Arris want to be as cheerful as they were but she just too tired.
