Once upon a time can happen at anytime as my sister had once said to me. My name is Lily and I am the younger sister of Phoebe Collins. Now, we have had an adventure of a lifetime in Snowdin, far from the Underground and the Ruins of Snowdin. This story takes place in the year 2048, and the setting is Chicago, so now you know the details.

Harbouring feelings for Tommy, or Thomas, like he likes to be called, Phoebe wanted to be like Toriel. We got to do everything from battling evil wizards and witches like the Charmed girls  to saving the town of Snowdin from Flowey. Before the folklore of evil legends came true, however before I tell you the whole story, we'll need to rewind a bit. By a bit, I mean about thirteen years when we were first born...

               IN THE YEAR 2037:

We were separated at birth you see  and we ended up meeting eleven years later. It was just around Christmastime, actually and Phoebe needed to adapt to her new home. At least, for the time being.

However, I'm getting ahead of myself...it all started in a small hospital wing on the south side of Main Street General Hospital where two twins were born. Two minutes and five seconds apart to be exact. They were fraternal twins, however Mr. and Mrs. Collins did not see eye to eye.  One wanted to live in Europe and one wanted the rural suburbs of the city right here in Chicago. Frustrated and separated by the same stupid qualms, they each took a twin and left the hospital. Divorce proceedings then took place, and were finalized two years later...

By our eleventh birthdays, we knew something magical was about to happen...

AMSETERDAM 11:00 AM

"Phoebe! Phoebe!" Claire called, as the phone started ringing. "What? Huh?" Phoebe asked sheepishly, as she arose and rubbed at her eyes. Allergy season was just kicking in and she didn't have her water. "Hello?" Phoebe asked, still half asleep as she answered her cordless phone. "Hey, Phoebe." Bianca said over the phone.

"Happy birthday!" Phoebe sat there, half stunned she forgot her own birthday. She was exhausted. Phoebe needed to also prepare her own wish list for Christmas...as her birthday fell on exactly Christmas Day. Phoebe also needed to get her new bike as soon as possible, and her mother promised to buy her one. Her mother was single, divorced, and kind hearted. Phoebe often wondered every Christmas about her father. What had happened between them? Could she ever get them back together again?

"Hey, Bianca." Phoebe said, smiling. "So, are you ready for the best Christmas/birthday dinner ever?" Phoebe joked. Bianca laughed. "Oh, you're always acting comical, aren't you?'' Bianca said, laughing. "Just promise me that you won't be late. As an only child, it's pretty lonely without sisters or brothers." Phoebe added, a little depressed. "Phoebe, don't even worry about that. Your mother is literally the best parent on the planet. And don't forget who got you that beautiful bracelet and necklace on the cruise ship." Bianca added. "Your right, Bianca. That's why you and Claire are my best friends." "I just feel like something's going to happen today. Something out of the ordinary. Something magical." Phoebe said excitedly. "Your birthday falls on the best day of the year. Christmas Day.

So, what could be more magical than that?" Bianca asked. "Nothing, Bianca." Phoebe sighed. "So anyway, I'll see you at my birthday dinner..." Phoebe hung up the phone after Bianca said goodbye. Claire smiled at Phoebe and Phoebe laughed. Claire laughed too. "Okay, so maybe I'm a little tense. It's just that Mum never mentions Dad anymore. However, I know he was absolutely charming." Phoebe said. Claire nodded. "Don't worry, you'll meet him one day." Phoebe sighed and nodded again. "Claire, you're always right. I just have to be ready."   Phoebe said as the two made their way down to the kitchen for breakfast.

        Meanwhile, in Chicago...

The next day, DECEMBER 26th- 1:00 PM

The Prompts have just arrived (next page) and Lily was jotting down in her journal about the previous school days after she had finished her homework. Her father was still at work, so she decided to go for a walk and then she saw the most beautiful snow globe. Her snow globe consisted of two little girls (sisters, probably) dancing around the tree with their family. That was the day. Her family had been separated ever since the divorce and her mom had gone back to the city.

Sighing, Lily turned and grabbed her cell phone, texting and walking. All of a sudden, a car came around the corner and almost struck her. Screaming, she held up her hands and landed safely on the pavement behind her. Idiot, she thought, as she climbed up onto her feet and brushed off the snow covered jacket she was wearing.

Lily and her friends were just about to meet one another at Lily's house for a sleepover. Meanwhile ,she wished she'd lived with a sibling  ,out of the woods. Trapped in the city, she'd seen the same cobblestone pathways and big tall buildings full of hustle and bustle. Tall shopping malls and businesses were a the rage, however in the countryside, there was freedom. Freedom to ride horses, and cowboys. Handsome cowboys. Oh, well. Chicago would have to do for now. This was her home.  Not today, though. Her father had announced she was going to camp that winter break. Camp? During winter break? After Christmas, which it was... Her father suddenly said she could go away to Camp Grenada where there'd be lots of students her age.

"Dad, do I really have to go?'' Lily wondered.

"Lots of people love camp. And maybe you'll find somebody on this continent who'll whip you at archery." Her father joked.

"Well, I doubt it. And thanks ,Dad." Lily exclaimed.

"Lily, you're an amazing girl. Lots of your friends will go to camp." Her father reassured her.

"Yes, well, I agree." Lily said.
