I was just a little girl at the age of seven when my village was attacked by Templars it was a massacre they went around taking villagers precious jewels and items, they burned down homes, and killed many, the men fought back and tried to get the woman and children to safety all except me I was watching what was going on from the edge of the woods watching my precious village getting torn apart and then
I heard a ear piercing scream I turned to look to see where it came from I saw a woman fighting to get away from a Templar guard I couldn't see her face but I could see that she was trying to get away she was yelling something at them I walked closer to see what she was saying when she had turned her face towards me im not sure if it was by accident or on purpose but it happened and I had seen why she had wanted to get away so bad it was...my mother she was trying to get to me I started to run to her I saw that she had something in her hand
But I dont think the guards had noticed "get off of her!!!"I yelled at the guard jumping on his back punching him he swung me around trying to get me off, I was losing my grip so he threw me off and I landed on the ground he took his sword out after that everything was going in slow motion he walked towards my mother I realized what his intentions were "nooooooo!!!"I screamed tears falling out of my eyes as his sword pierced her stomach tears were streaming down my face as I watched her fall to the ground the guard turned towards me and said "that'll teach you a lesson from now on" and then he walked away
I ran to my mothers body and saw that she was still slightly breathing she grabbed my hand and put something in it I looked down and saw a sapphire jewel "mommy?"I said still crying "sikina, baby take this jewel and keep it on at all time it will protect you in times of need I want you to take it and run run away from here and find your father" I sobbed and said"b-but I need to be here with you I need to keep you safe" she sighed "sikina you need to understand that im not gonna be here much longer its almost my time to go" "but I need you here with me" "I know baby but I can't right now I need you to be strong for the both of us okay?" "Okay I will be"I said wiping my tears "remember I will always be with you in your heart I love you" "I love you to mother goodbye" I said as she took her last breath
