"maybe you should go." ivy mumbled, pushing calum gently off her and standing up,

"no, i can explain ivy, i just- i,"

"no, its fine," ivy reassured him, plastering a smile on her face,

"we aren't dating, why am i doing this? gosh..." she laughed to herself, hands pressed to her temples,

"babe, i want to-"

"please don't." ivy muttered as calum moved away, taking back his movement about to wrap his arms around her,

"just go." she said as he stayed where he was,

"can i just explain please?" he said quietly,

"was it ellie?" ivy asked, as calum looked at his feet,

"was it ellie?!" ivy repeated, now shouting,

"y-yes." calum mumbled, his voice barely a sound,

"you can let yourself out." ivy spat, grabbing her coat and walking out the door of her own home, leaving calum there alone as he punched the wall, a bruise appearing on his hand quickly.

"i finally made a friend, it isn't fair!" ivy said, wiping away a tear from under her eye, back at the place she was most comfortable; her mothers grave.

"i thought someone actually liked me." she said, a sarcastic chuckle following the sentence,

"he called me babe too, and acted like he wanted to date me and i really thought i had a chance with him." she mumbled, tears now streaming down her face.

as immature as it sounded, ivy had never really had a friend. even in her first years of education, she preferred to be alone. the fact the calum had persisted to try and befriend her made her feel special, like someone cared about her, and soon enough he was calling her couple-like names and kissing her on the couch.

"everything goes fucking wrong." she spat under her breath, bringing her knee's to her chest in the crisp winter air.

"im going, sorry mum, i love you." she mumbled, standing up and walking away from the cemetery.

walking up to the bar, she smiled as she opened the door. as some may feel uncomfortable, ivy felt happy and at peace when she walked into what she considered her second home.

the bar wasn't busy, it wasnt late and it wasn't an incredibly busy place to begin with.

she approached the bar to greet ashton, but stopped in her tracks when she noticed calum sat at the bar, having a drink and casual conversation with ashton, the pair laughing every now and again.

ivy didn't say anything. she just felt mad, she wanted to be alone and he was everywhere she went.

"ivy!" ashton called as she was heading towards the door,

"me and your boyfriend have just been talking about you!"
