"I'm breaking the ice, your not how I pictured you"

"You either, I still hate you tho even if our parents become bestfriend's" he looked at me

"I still can't believe out of all people I end up moving next door to you."

"Yeah" I saw my mom pull into the drive way.

"what time is it?"

"4:30"

"I have to go but see you at dinner" I went back inside

"Y/N who was that boy you were talking to?" My mom walked in, "are the groceries put away?"

"That's the neighbor boy, and almost all of them"

"When did you go to Dunkin?"

"Spencer took me"

"Oh"

"Yeah he works at the store and normally when I go he is about to get off so he drives me back home"

"I thought you should know not to get in a car with a boy"

"Spencer's not like that mom you've met him"

She put her bag on the counter

"Come here"

I walked over

"Yes ma'am"

"I know but you never know what can happen ok? Now go get ready"

I set my phone down to start getting ready. When I got a text from dream I guess I should call him clay

"We're talking when you come over." 

"Ok why?"

I set my phone down and went to my dresser and grabbed my purple cropped sweater and high waisted pants and got dressed. Put my hair in a high ponytail and did some light makeup

"Ready?"

"Yes" I walked down stairs

she looked at me

"What?"

"Trying to impress that boy?

"No?"

"Come on let's go"

We walked over and my mom knocked on the door to no surprise clay answered

"Hey come in" he looked at me

"Thank you so much for having us over sorry we took so long" my mom said

"Oh it's no problem at all" clays mom said shaking my moms hand

"What's your name?" His mom asked me

"Y/N"

"What a pretty name this is my son clay"

"We've met" he said

"Oh really?" My mom said

"Yeah I ran into her when I went to go get the mail" he said looking back at me

"Hey Y/N can I show you my PC?"

"Oh yeah sure"

"Ok follow me"

"I'll call you guys when dinners ready" his mom said

"Ok mom" he said

We got to his room and he shut the door

"Your not actually gonna show me your PC are you?"

"No I'm asking you what happened 30 minutes ago"

"Nothing happened"

"Y/N when someone sees there mom pull into the driveway they typically don't get scared and rush into the house."

"I just forgot to put the groceries away"

"Y/N." He sat next to me

"What?"

"I feel like there's more to it."

"There's not that's what happened"

"Hmm well if there's anything else you can always tell me" he patted my head

"Thanks"

Since when was clay nice he's normally always yelling at me I'm not complaining though he's cute when he's nice.

We ate dinner and a few minutes after that we left they had already made plans to do this again next week but at our house.

We got back inside

I saw my mom pull out the wine great it's gonna be one of these nights

I started to walk upstairs I can hear my mom pouring the wine

"Yes?"

"What did you and that boy clay talk about in his room?"

"Nothing he just showed me his PC and showed me his Minecraft worlds"

"Better be it I don't want a pregnant 16 year old daughter"

"Gross mom I just met him"

"Ever heard of A one night stand?"

I ignored her and went to my room and got on Minecraft.

"Playing Minecraft" a text showed on my phone it was from clay

"How did you even?Ah my window"

"Yes now open it"

"Ok"

I opened my window

"Hey bitch"

"I'm sure you'd like too"

Why did I say that.

"Gross I would never."

"Good because I was joking"

"Didn't seem like it"

"So are we going to tell sapnap and George we're neighbors?"  I changed the subject.
