"let them have a minute" she said and the officer released you. you ran to john b who was already crying. you ran to him and hugged him so tight neither of you could breathe. "i promise i'll come back for you y/n/n" john b whispered. you sobbed even louder. after you watched the cop car leave with john b in the back seat, you needed to help him. you pulled out your phone and called your mom. "m-mom it's john b" you cried. after long meetings with dsc, you mom was john b's legal guardian. it was just you and your mom but she allowed him to still live at the château because she knew how much it meant to him. after two long months of not seeing him today was the day you to would be reunited. you were waiting at the château for him while you mom picked him up from the ferry. he had been with a foster family on the mainland for two months. you heard the car pull up and you couldn't control yourself. you ran outside to see your boyfriend walking towards the door "baby" he said. you ran up to him and jumped in his arms. he spun you around before putting you down and cupping your face.
