Christmas Mishaps (part 1)

Author's note : In this story the war never occurred and Voldemort was defeated by Harry when he was a child. Draco and Hermione is married and all our main characters are friends with each other.     ENJOY:)

Its been two years since the golden trio graduated from Hogwarts along with Draco Malfoy and others. A lot has changed since then. Now our golden girl Hermione is happily married to Draco Malfoy , she is also the current head of department of foreign regulations in the ministry. Draco runs his family businesses after Lucius retired a year ago. But currently they were snuggled up to each other on a fine Christmas morning.

Naturally Draco Malfoy is not a early morning person but every year in Christmas morning he wakes up before everyone with full of excitement and energy of a five year old in a sugar rush. Today he woke up feeling a mane of brown hair on his face nearly choking him and his wife's body draped over him. He continued to watch his wife's sleeping form thinking about how lucky he was to have a witch like Hermione in his life. If someone would have told him in his younger years that he would marry Hermione Granger he would have first laughed at him then beat him to a pulp and then recommend him to a mental asylum. But then everythings changed, in the pair's seventh year they both fell helplessly in love with each other when they were both serving as head students at Hogwarts. It was still a mystery to the Wizarding world that how two people who couldn't even stand each other fall in love and get married. Draco watched her stirring when light fell on her face from the window and chuckled to himself as she tried to hide her face from the light.
"wakey wakey" he said in a baby voice.
"shut up " she mumbled in a barely audible voice.
"come on you don't want to sleep through a Christmas morning now, do you? "
" it's still five-thirty"
"so?"
Why today? Why do you have to bloody wake up so early in the morning on a holiday" she protested.
"can't help it" Draco deadpanned. " I guess it something to do with presents I'm always too eager to see what presents I recieved " he continued.
"can't it wait? "
"Nope"
"So what present did you get for me?" Hermione changed the topic seeing that it was pointless to argue with Draco.
"can't say but you're going to enjoy it " he said with a mischievous grin.
Hermione nodded knowing that she couldn't get anything out of him.
"come on let's get ready mother and father will be expecting us at the manor "
"yeah coming" she said as they got ready for a very funful Christmas day ahead.
