Stiles sat in the grass beside me on the ground at the park. He was pulling at the grass while saying he had to study for an exams. I nodded. He kissed my cheeck before standing to his feet. I stood as well. We walked back to the house hand in hand. As you guessed, I said yes to being Stiles's girlfriend! He finally turned to me.
"Wanna go swimming?" He asked and my eyes lit up. I nodded quickly and raced to my room. I slipped on my pink dots with black backround. I walked to the backyard built in pool. I really like their pool!
Stiles was already in the pool in his orange flame patterned swimming shorts. I smiled and jumped in splashing him big time. I came back up to the surface with a smile.
We messed around in the pool for a half hour before Mrs. Carter called us in for dinner. We had steak, carrots, and mash potatoes. My favorite! It was a silent meal unlike the other meals. I looked over at Mr. Carter who looked stressed.
"So......" I broke the silence. They all looked up at me surprised. Weird.
"Umm. How was everyone's day?" I asked looking from ace to face. They went back to silence. "What's going on with you guys? You act like I'm an alien!" I stood up and put my napkin down I the table. Stiles grabbed my wrist to hold me back. I realized I was over reacting. I felt stupid at this point. I sat back down.
"Well, Hazel sweetie........ Umm, uhh. We are gonna move....." Mr. Carter finally said. I nodded.
"Ok." I said. Everybody looked at me.
"Something wrong?" I asked. Stiles had a hurt look on his face. *knock knock* Mrs. Carter jumped up to her feet and raced to the front door. Everyone came to the door. Mr. And Mrs. Zang.
"Hazel. I'm sorry but when we move, you will be living with Mr and Mrs. Zang......" Mr. Carter said. I felt tears down roll down my cheecks. I ran to my room and Stiles ran after me. I locked my door and opened the window. I looked back at the door. I unlocked it and bolted to the window. I jumped down the 2 story house window landing to the ground I looked back up to my window which te family was looking back.
"Hazel! Come back! Hazel! Please!" Stiles yelled. I looked at them.
"If you didn't want me, could've said so..... 2 years ago!" I screamed and ran to the woods behind the house. They must have ran after me because Jadyn was catching up. I ran faster.
Am I really running away from the family that's always been there for me?
