But i controlled myself and calmed him down first.

"It's ok now. He won't be able to lay a finger on you anymore. I won't let him." I gently wiped his tears.

He slowly nodded.

"Come on." I held his hand and led him outside.

Mom, dad, aunt Aria and Bank were sitting at the dining table.

My blood started boiling the moment i saw Bank.

He seems to be scared. I guess aunt Aria doesn't know about how he acts when she's not there.

Mom and dad shot up the moment they saw us.

They looked at me waiting for me to speak.

Aunt Aria also stood beside them.

I looked directly at Bank.

"Was it fun beating up a defenseless kid?" I hissed.

He flinched at my voice.

Mom, dad and aunt Aria's eyes widened. Their heads whipped towards him.

"Bank?!" Aunt Aria gasped.

"I-I didn't beat anyone up. H-he's lying!" He stuttered.

"If your going to lie, try doing a better job at it." I scoffed.

I let go of Ming's hand and stepped towards him.

"Weak? Idiot? Waste of space? Are these what your parents taught you to say to others?" I hissed.

He looked really frightened by now.

"I-I didn't..." He stuttered again.

"You're way too obvious." I scoffed.

"How dare you do something like that?!" Aunt Aria shouted.

She looked furious.

"I'm really sorry about this Ming. I'll make sure he learns his lesson." She looked at Ming with a guilty expression.

"And you! Apologise to him right now!" She turned to Bank.

"I-I'm sorry..." He mumbled softly.

Ming pursed his lips and nodded.

"I can't apologise enough for this insolent son of mine. I'll come over some other time Emmie." She looked at mom.

Mom and dad looked furious. They were glaring daggers at Bank.

"I think you need to teach your son a hard lesson Aria. Ming might not be the only one he treated like that." Dad said through gritted teeth.

"I'll make sure he regrets his actions." She said firmly.

With that she dragged him out of the house.

We all turned to Ming. He was shaking badly.

"Baby..." Mom walked to Ming and pulled him into her embrace.

Ming clutched onto her dress tightly.

We went near them.

"It's ok now. You're safe here with us." Dad said softly while patting his head.

It took a while for him to calm down.

"Why don't you take him into the room to take a nap? I'm sure he's tired by now." She looked at me.

I nodded and bent down to lift him up in my arms.

I went into my bedroom and laid him down on the bed. I covered him with the duvet and sat beside him.

He was clutching onto my shirt tightly.

"Rest. I'll be right here. You're safe." I assured him softly.

"P'...." He called me softly.

I hummed.

"Why do my parents not want me?" He looked at me pain filled eyes.

I didn't know what to say so i just pulled him into my embrace and hugged him.

I could feel my shoulder getting wet from his tears.

He round his arms around my neck and held on tightly.

"Please d-don't leave m-me. I p-promise i'll do wh-whatever you s-say. So p-please don't l-leave me b-behind." He sobbed.

I tightened my arms around him.

"We won't. We'll never leave you. We'll always be here. Right beside you." I assured him.

I kissed his temple and rubbed his back gently.

He sobs slowly subsided and his body relaxed.

His breathing evened and he fell asleep not too long after.

I slowly laid him down on on the bed and covered him with the duvet.

I wiped his tears and planted a soft kiss on his forehead.

I slowly got up and went outside.

Mom was standing near the door crying.

She wiped her tears. Her expression changed to one of anger.

She walked fast to the living room.

I followed close behind.

"Honey we need to dig out those bastards from wherever they are and make them pay for doing this to Ming." She said to dad.

He nodded and took out his phone. Mom also did the same.
