Ch. 28 "Everything"

                                                 Sammie POV

"Katherine," I said smiling 

"What do I smell give me a hug," She said with her arms wide, 

"I can't," I said looking down, 

"Why whats wrong?" She asked her voice concerned 

"Kat, I did something terrible," I said sadly, 

We were sitting on a bench after I told her everything, 

"And ever since then I have been too afraid to touch anyone," I said squeezing my fists in my lap

"Little Minnow what they did they deserved it," She said 

I looked up at her, 

"But how could I do such a thing, stealing something that didn't belong to me," I said 

"Listen little Minnow, you didn't mean it, you didn't even know you had such power," She said 

"That's what makes me dangerous," I said looking down, 

"No my Minnow, you just need to learn how to control it," She said 

"But how I don't even know I don't even know what I am, I've never heard of anyone that can do what I can," I said sadly 

"I just want to be normal again," I said looking down, 

"Listen little Minnow, you are special not everyone gets the elusive Katherine Pierce to have a heart with them, to come back to town knowing that the Original who has hunted her down ever since she turned into a vampire was in that same town, but I still came knowing you were having problems," She said 

"Why did you?" I said 

"Because I care about my little Minnow," She said tucking some of my hair behind my ear, 

"Come on lets get you back home before your Uncle and Father send out a man hunt," Katherine said as she wrapped her arm around my shoulder, 

I stiffened but as soon as I seen nothing happened I relaxed, 

We enter and See Dad looking in my direction worried, but as soon as he seen me he relaxed, 

"Sammie," He said 

"Katherine?" Both Dad and Stefan said in shock 

"Hello boys," She said smirking 

"What the hell are you doing here? Sammie get over here," Dad said 

I nodded walking over to him, 

"Oh I just thought I would check on my little Minnow," Katherine said 

The both looked confused, 

"Well I'll be around if any of you need me," Katherine said and walked out, 

Dad looked at me I knew he wasn't going to be happy that I was with Katherine, 

"Sammie we need to talk follow me," Dad said 

I followed him, we were in the back yard, 

"Sammie, I need you to talk to me, what the hell is going on with you," Dad said looking down at me, 

"I-" I said but He cut me off, 

"And don't you even think about lying to me," Dad said 

I was lost for words, I didn't know what to say do I tell him that I'm afraid to touch anyone, that I'm terrified that I can literally take anyone  I touch magic, I seen him looking down at me sternly, 

"I'm afraid," I mumbled 

"Of what?" Dad said concerned 

"Of what I can do,"I said 

"Sammie," Dad said 

"What if I hurt you, or anyone I come in contact with, what if I take it too far and kill someone?!" I said looking up at him 

"I am going to help you me and Stefan are going to help you," He said 

"How?" I said getting emotional 

"We have Klaus and his siblings looking into it," Dad said 

I looked at him shocked, 

"Yeah, I know I'm shocked myself," Dad said 

"Listen you need to be straight with me is that all that is going on?" Dad asked 

I shook my head, 

"Dad I hurt her, I didn't mean it but it just happened my hands were on her wrist and they glowed red and I felt all of her emotions flow into me like a harsh storm," I said 

"What?" He said 

"all the angry emotions it was so overwhelming, I didn't like it! I don't want it to ever happen again!" I said feeling tears fall, 

I felt him bring me into a hug,

"It's okay, it's okay, were going to figure this out I promise," Dad said as he petted my hair, 

I hope so, I thought 

"Sammie you may not know it, but you have changed everything in my life," Dad said 

I looked at him, 

"So please I need to know if your mad, sad I need to know so I can make it better," Dad said as he touched my cheek, 

I nodded 

"I will now, I promise," I said 

"That's my dove," He said smiling at me
