"As a teacher, my motto has always been, as long as you try, you shall never fail. But sometimes, you don't even try! Look here, on this particular worksheet, you didn't even fill in all the questions. You left at least half of them blank. If you keep going down this path, you'll have to repeat my class, for a third time, Sakura. Which means, you won't get the opportunity to take calculus math for your senior year. Which means, you won't have enough credits to graduate on time with the rest of your class. Which means, you will have to repeat either your junior, or your senior year! I'm serious, Sakura. You need to be taking me super seriously right now. I'm trying to help you, I want to help you. But you need to put forth some actual effort, too."
"P-please", I stuttered, my fear growing, and my self-esteem plummeting by the second. " I want to be able to graduate. I want to be able to go to college on time." I really did, too. I didn't want math, the one thing I hated and dreaded, to be the very thing that kept me from getting a good job in the future. I really did want to make my parents proud, and make a name for myself someday. " Good answer",Baldi said, staring at me, his dark green eyes, looking as if they could swallow me whole. " well, luckily for you, I happen to have some solutions, that would benefit us both greatly. "I'll do anything", I said, not realizing then how wrong I was to say those words.
"Right then, just stand there a second." I was confused, as he stood up from his desk. Was he going to go get something? What was going on? My confusion turned into nervousness, as I watched Baldi slowly walk in circles around me. I craned my neck, trying to get a glimpse of what he was up to. "Don't move", he snapped. "Just stay there and standstill." I had no choice, I obediently stayed in place as Baldi kept circling me. I was beginning to feel utterly creeped out Buy this whole situation. I wondered what was in store for me. "Oh, Sakura. I've waited so long for this, you have no idea",Baldi whispered, directly in my ear.
Before I could even ask what he meant by that,Baldi came to a stop directly in front of me. I felt his strong hands grab me by the shoulders. He began walking forward, forcing me to walk backward. Before I knew it, I was backed up against the classroom wall. He kept me pinned there, both of his hands resting firmly on my shoulders. My heart was jackhammering inside my chest. What was happening? Suddenly, and without warning, he closed the space between us. Capturing my lips in a forced kiss. He was kissing me, my math teacher was kissing me! "Oh god!" I felt my stomach churn with nausea, as I tried to wiggle my way out of his grasp. But his hold on me was too strong. After what seemed like hours, he finally pulled away, looking me dead in the eyes.
"You want a chance to graduate on time, right? If you do as I say, Sakura, you will. Your slate of terrible work will be wiped clean, and you'll get an A in my class for the whole rest of the year. You just have to do as I say. I was freaking out. What could he possibly want from me? Every part of me just wanted to run away, the first chance I got. " If you refuse my offer, Sakura. Then I will have no choice other than to talk to the principal about expelling you from here academy." My heart froze in terra. It was One thing to tell my parents I would have to repeat a grade if I failed math. But it would be another thing entirely, to tell them I got expelled from one of the most prestigious schools around. Also, that would not look good on a college application. None of the colleges I would apply to would ever even consider excepting me. So, I knew that no matter what it was, I had to except Baldi's offer.
"Come to my desk when you're ready. I'll be waiting for you there." I watched as he made his way back across the room to sit at his desk. There he sat, propped up on his elbows, hands tucked neatly beneath his chin, just watching me. Even though I really didn't want to, I found myself walking towards his desk, towards him. "I am really glad you're being sensible about this, Sakura." With one swift motion, he roughly grabbed me by the waist, lifting me up in the air as if I were nothing more than a ragdoll. Baldi pulled me over his desk entirely, and, before I could even fully register what was happening. I was sitting in his lap. Sitting in Baldi's Lap was like sitting on a hard park bench. Firm, stiff, and uncomfortable. His long, slender legs had absolutely no meat on them.
