*I recommend listening to the song while reading this book. It's a loop so you won't have to replay. If you like slower songs, you can listen to the slowed version, which also works (for me, at least). Now, enjoy the story!*
You and your boyfriend were planning to go camping in the woods. You're madly in love with him and that's why you agreed to come, even though it scared you to spend the night in a cold, unknown surrounding. He said not to worry, and he wanted to spend some time with you, alone, where no one could disturb you.
After setting up the tent, you both lay down next to each other. Your boyfriend faces you. He leans forward and kisses you passionately. Kissing him back, you tangle your fingers in his hair and pull at his shirt. Things are starting to get heated. You see movement from the corner of your eye, but it's neither you or your boyfriend. Looking up, you catch a glimpse of an unfamiliar shadow on the tent. You're growing worried, but your boyfriend is trying to calm you down. He kisses you and you give in to him, kind of hoping it will take the brooding away. After a few seconds, you brake the kiss up because you can't shake the feeling that something is wrong. Your boyfriend assures you that it's nothing, and tries to kiss you. You pull away but he lightly pulls your arm. Almost like he's slightly demanding the kiss. You, of course, feel uneasy and you keep your distance.
You get up to get a clearer view. He stays silent, but you're scared because of the strange things happening. That's when you see shadows on the tent, vaguely shaped like a... devil? The outlook is indistinct, but you can make up what seem like two horns and a tale. Your boyfriend, in the meantime, had gotten impatient. He lays his hands on your hips but this doesn't feel sweet and calming whatsoever. His touches are more persistent and brute and you step back. Confused and mad, you ask yourself why he won't take this seriously.
When he comes onto you once more, you thrust him away. You're taken by surprise by yourself, but get frightened when you look up. His eyes flicker with a mixture of madness and lust. It's like his eyes are igniting? You're starting to panic, you've never seen him like this before. And is it just you or is it getting hotter and hotter in here every second? Not the kind of hotness when there's things happening between you and a lover, or the heat you feel when you're embarrassed. No, this feels different. Almost like, there's a fire near you. Nay, it's stronger than that. Like...lava? Yes, that's it. You're trying to crawl out of the tent, but you deadass stop when you feel something snaking up your back. You've never held a snake before, but this is what you picture how it feels like. It's trailing up your shoulder. You're about to scream when you're convinced that it's an actual snake. Though, you look closer and you see it's not a snake. It's a tail. The weird thing is, it doesn't seem bestial. It doesn't seem human too. For a moment, the fear has taken place for curiosity. The fear immediately takes it's place again as the queer thing is making it's way to your mouth. Like a hand, it's covering it so you're able to scream or say anything. You look up at the one you love, with tears in your eyes. He's standing before you, still not saying anything. The tail...it's coming from behind him. Like it's fixed on him.
Although you've never been more scared of someone, or something, in your life, you're also mesmerized. Fascinated by the person- no, creature standing before you. The man you thought you knew, the one who taught you the very ability to love, is very much resembling the devil. He has an evil grin on his lips. Not cocky, or mockingly. No, it's looks like pure evil. His eyes look like they're on fire. As if there's actual fire trapped behind his eyes. You pinch your eyes together. Oh dear God...it's not even fire. It's like there's a purgatory. Trapped behind his tainted soul, just waiting to escape from it's prison. You shudder and your throat feels like it's being squeezed shut.
Are you imagining this? Are you sleeping? He stares at you, and he shakes his head. Huh? Then you hear his voice, he's saying these kind words but his voice sounds extremely calm, which is making you even more anxious. He keeps talking to you, but you notice something very remarkable yet terrifying. His mouth is not moving and he's kind of comparable to a mind reader at this moment. He is still saying things to you, but you're concentrating on something else already. Behind his voice, faint noises are heard. They sound like people, screaming and yelling. Like the background voices in a song. He smirks.
You, numb from all the terrified things you've just seen and heard, show no further emotion and his face turns cold. Colder than it already was. The smirk is gone, and he looks at you like he's shooting daggers with his eyes. He eyes your body from top to bottom. He rests his eyes on your stomach, and you suddenly feel a sharp pain. You look down and you see a blood stain on your shirt. His eyes...like they actually are daggers. And one of them just stabbed you. You can taste blood in your mouth and you try to swallow it down. He slowly walks up to you and pins you against the side of the tent. The minute his lips touches yours, all the pain fades away. The blood is no longer even there, and you kiss him back, hard. His hands explore your body and you're doing the same to him. Out of nowhere, flames ignite everywhere. He pushes you away from him. His clothes are on fire but he looks unaffected by the flames. You're panicking out of your mind, and your eyes search for his. You beg him to help you. He takes one last, good look at you, and then he turns around to let you burn. Alone, forever.
