Itachi is the smartest person Shisui has ever met. He's taken aback every time. Whenever he asks Itachi something about the human body, or maths, or chemistry, Itachi almost always has an answer. If he doesn't, he spends some time reading on the subject and then tell Shisui about it even when Shisui himself has managed to forget he asked in the first place. Itachi always spends Sunday breakfasts solving this week's math problem in the Sunday paper. He reads fact books and watches documentaries. Itachi is a cornucopia of knowledge. Shisui is incredibly proud of this. He would often brag about his smart boyfriend, because God knew Itachi himself never did. He could never, ever get jealous of any of Itachi's abilities. He only ever felt pride.
