cat fight - nct, markhyuck

mark chuckled seeing donghyuck getting this excited. "okay, close your eyes."

donghyuck did as he was told. however, he opened one of them as soon as mark opened the bag to pick up whatever object was in the plastic bag.

"no cheating!" mark said, lightly slapping donghyuck's hand.

"yes, yes!"

when mark was sure donghyuck's eyes were closed, he pulled out a headband out of the bag and placed it delicately on donghyuck's head, just behind his ears, on top of his head.

"open your eyes."

donghyuck slowly opened his eyes and walked to the mirror, almost bursting into tears at what he was seeing.

here he was, back as his old self, with two white triangles sitting on top of his head. sure, those ones didn't allow him to hear better, and they didn't move depending on his mood, but they made donghyuck feel like a cat, and that's what he was, a cat.

"i saw them at the store, and i remember how you said you missed being a cat. i know it doesn't really make you a cat, but at least it can make you look like one..." mark explained as donghyuck caressed the soft material of the fake cat ears.

donghyuck didn't waste a second to throw himself in mark's arms.

"i love them. they do help." he said quickly. "thank you so much."

mark smiled. "you're welcome. they look cute on you. i missed seeing you with cat ears."

donghyuck blushed at mark's comment.

"i love you donghyuck. i hope you know that."

"i do. and i love you too."

mark smiled before tilting donghyuck's chin up and capturing his lips in a sweet and loving kiss.

"what kinky shit are you two up to?" jeno asked.

mark facepalmed. "let him wear those cat ears jeno. i bought them for him..."

"i don't want to know what you do during- "

"don't finish that sentence." mark glared at jeno.

the two of them were watching jaemin, renjun and donghyuck having a dance battle in the living room. they were in charge of the kitchen, so apparently, they couldn't join. not that they minded. they had fun just watching them having the time of their lives.

"maybe i'll discover renjun has a puppy kink or something like that... you never know." jeno continued talking.

mark mentally slapped himself after an inappropriate image of his best friend almost appeared in his mind. "jeno?! what the hell?! shut the fuck up!"

"i mean i already know jaemin likes to get strangl- "

mark slammed his hand over jeno's mouth with so much force that it made him fall from his chair.

"s-sorry jeno." mark apologised pulling jeno up. "but i had warned you not to say such things."

and just when they thought they would be able to start a normal conversation again; the cat ears fell from donghyuck's head.

and who picked them up? not donghyuck obviously. it was renjun.

the chinese wanted to try them on, which he did, but that didn't please donghyuck much, because the ex-hybrid jumped on him half-yelling, half-meowling, making renjun let go the headband.

and who got it after? none other than jaemin.

and that boy became the prey of two boys that looked more like two hungry cats at the moment.

"you were thinking about a puppy kink?" mark asked jeno.

"i thought you didn't want to talk about- "

"i know what i said." mark cut jeno who was focused on his elbow that had been injured during the fall. "but look at our boys."

jeno looked at his boys to find them busy fighting each other and donghyuck for a cat headband, all that while meowling loudly.

"i think you're thinking wrong. if our boys have a kink. it would surely be a cat kink." mark said.

and jeno could only nod in response.

well, what could they say?

they were at the front row of a unique cat fight.

this story finally came to an end, I've been working on it since so long... I'm pretty happy about the way it turned out actually

but yeah, as this one is finished, I published a new markhuck story called 'against the rules'. I have already a few chapters pre-written and I'm pretty excited to continue writing it, the first chapter is out already ;)
