Chapter 1: Unexpected Scenario

(This story contains Saiouma, so if you don't like this ship, click off! And this is an AU where pregame Shuichi and Kokichi are dating, and pregame Shuichi isn't a Yandere psycho, just overprotective. They get to the killing game by accident! Okay, happy reading!)

??? POV

I woke up in a courtyard sort of place. It was surrounded with buildings and there were.. ROBOTS?!

"GAAAAAHH!" I screamed out of shock, slowly backing away from the robot, who seems to be clearing out the grass. Where am I..? "Ouch!" someone behind me stated. I hesitated, but turned around to see who was behind me. "Kokichi?" I looked down on the ground, laying there was my boyfriend, Kokichi Ouma.

"Huh..?" The small boy looked up at me. His worried expression turned to relief as he stood up and held onto my arm.

PG Shuichi: Any idea where we are 'Kichi?
PG Kokichi: N-no..
PG Shuichi: Ah, well, are you injured in any way?
PG Kokichi: D-don't worry, I'm fine.. Just scared..
PG Shuichi: It's okay.. Let's check inside the buildings, hold onto me tight, don't get lost okay?

He nodded. We went in the biggest building, with a pretty big door. It sort of looked like an abandoned school. We took a right turn, then we saw someone.  A green haired boy with glasses and a giant body, his face was scary too. I felt shivers down my spine, damn he looks like he could crush a skull...

"E-excuse me?" I walked up to the giant while holding Kokichi tightly just in case the giant tries anything. "Oh, hello Shuichi and Kokichi! What you doing here?" He smiled as he greeted us. Maybe.. He isn't that bad? But wait, how does he know our names? "H-hello.." I stuttered. What am I supposed to ask? "Aren't you supposed to be in dorm? You say you need rest?" Ah.. Theres dorms, and it seems I have one too. "Sorry, I forgot where the dorms were, too tired you know.. Can you show me where my dorm is?" I lied, hopefully he fell for it. "Of course Gonta will lead the way, follow Gonta!" The giant said as he started walking. So I'm guessing his name is Gonta..

Me and Kokichi started following Gonta. Kokichi seemed to be really nervous, but I won't let anything happen to him. And with that, Gonta lead us to my so said dorm. It had a pixelated version of me on the door. Funny.. I don't even have my hat on, and I'm wearing a coat even though I wear suits. As Gonta left with a goodbye motion with his hands, I sat there, staring at the door not knowing what to do.
"Well, what should we do..?" Kokichi started. I didn't know what I was thinking, but I pressed the doorbell. Seriously.. I don't even have the key to my own so said dorm.

Surprisingly, the door opened. I went inside with Kokichi as I closed the door.

Shuichis POV

I opened the door. I thought it was Kaito but it was very unexpected for who was coming in. It was.. Me and Kokichi? Wait what?! But I'm me?!

"GAAAAAAH!!" I screamed. The other Shuichi clapped both his hands on my mouth. "Shhhhh!" he whispered. What was going on..? I looked at the other me and at Kokichi. Kokichi wasn't wearing his usual smile, he looked.. Scared? His clothes were  all black, and he was also wearing a coat similar to mine. I looked back at the other me, he slowly put his hands down. "Don't be scared, I'm shocked too.   I can't believe there's actually two of me!Or... you." he said. Yeah, this was really strange.. How come there's two of me,and why is Kokichi acting so strange?

"W-what now..? We're here with no reason or explanation, and now we met another you, can this get any scarier?" Kokichi finally said something, but it didn't sound like his usual all happy voice at all, it was filled with anxiety and nervousness. "Don't worry 'Kichi, we'll find a way out.. I think." The other me said.

Shuichi: Just.. Why are you two here?
PG Shuichi: Long story short, me and Kokichi woke up in a courtyard sort of place, went in this giant building, this giant person whose name is probably Gonta lead us to "my" dorm, and here we are.
Shuichi: I see.. Do you know what's happening here?
PG Shuichi: Huh..?
Shuichi: You're not safe here, this is a killing game. A bear mascot runs this place, his name is Monokuma.

Suddenly, The other Shuichis expression turned. "Monokuma...?" He asked. "Yes, Monokuma, you by any chance know him?" I felt like he knew something. But he didn't say anything, he looked serious and deep in thought. "M-Monokuma is a bear who hosted a killing game as a show.. A-and he's hosted about 52 of them by now.." Kokichi stated. 52 KILLING GAMES?! Geez.. Looks like alot more people died huh.. "Anything else you know about him? Or the other killing games?" I hope they'll give me more information, maybe I'll use that as blackmail or possibly a way to escape this hell. "E-every killing game is hosted in a different location, the first was a school, second was an island, third was an abandoned forest and so on.. Each killing game had 16 students, all forced to kill each other." Kokichi went on, "Monokuma does these show things to entertain us, and apparently we got dragged into the stage, haha.." he stated, but then his face turned pale.

The other me snapped out of his thoughts.

PG Shuichi: Kokichi, are you okay?
PG Kokichi: W-what if.. There's people watching.. r-right now.. Am I gonna mess everything up..?

The other me didn't say anything. And trust me when I say this, I never thought I'd see a day where I'd witness myself hug Kokichi. That sounds.. weird, real weird. But me and him do look happy together, I must admit.

"You and Kokichi are close huh?" I asked, smiling. "Yeah, we're dating." "W-wait what?" I stuttered out in shock. "I'm dating Kokichi." Okay that sounds weirder than me hugging Kokichi. Alot weirder, this is really awkward, the other me is staring into my soul..

I bet that's another Kokichi too, the Kokichi I know is probably wandering around the school or inside his dorm. "Is that another Kokichi too?" I asked. "I suppose so, there's another Kokichi here too huh?" "Definitely.." I responded.

Well, what am I gonna do with these two? Maybe.. I should call Monokuma? It might be a mistake, and he might send them back home.

"MONOKUMA!"

I shouted as loud as I could. Monokuma then of course, appeared out of thin air. "Monokuma, what is the meaning of this?" I pointed towards the other two. Monokuma looked stunned, looks like he didn't plan this.. Though his expression quickly changed into happiness. "Well well well, this is exciting! The audience will love this! Let these two stay here, I'll prepare a room for them later.. Puhuhu, amazing! My kubs probably did this, better go thank them!" Then, he left, I guess he's letting the two stuck in here.. Great.
