Ch. 14 "Shocking news"

                                                     Emma POV

My eyelids slowly flutter open, seeing that I'm asleep on top of Bucky I remember telling him  how I don't remember My mommy, how the only thing I have left of her is my locket, 

I slowly crawl out of bed and open the door, I'm still dressed in my clothes from yesterday, I brushed my teeth and hair, and walk out, 

As I was walking down the hall way I was still thinking about our conversation, it felt as if Bucky wanted to tell me something, I thought 

When i turned the corner only to bump into someone, I look up to see Steve, 

"Emma? what are you doing up so early?" He said 

I held my arms up since I was too tired, 

He picked me up walking back to the kitchen, he sat me on the counter, I couldn't look at him because of how I acted yesterday, 

"Emma?" He said 

I looked at him slowly

"What's the matter sweetie?" He said 

"i'm sorry about yesterday," I mumbled 

"Its alright we all have those bad days," Steve said 

"How about some breakfast?" Steve said 

I nodded, Steve handed me some eggs on a plate, 

"Come on," He said picking me up balancing me on his hip as he walked with his own plate, 

He sat me on a chair and we ate, 

                                        Bucky POV

I woke up and Emma was gone, How does this kid wake up before me, I thought as I rushed out of the room 

I entered the kitchen to see Steve and Emma eating breakfast, Emma's back was too me, 

I mouthed to Steve if he could watch her, 

He nodded with that I went out to find a gift for her,since I have to tell her I'm her father I have to do it today so this gives me time to think, 

What do little girls like? I thought 

as I passed a few stores, 

Bombs? No, 

Guns? No, No

Hmm maybe a toy store would be best, I thought entering, 

and I found the perfect toy, a Stuffed Fox, since she's crafty like one anyway, i thought 

I picked up the toy buying it and leaving the store, 

I came back to see Steve sitting on the couch and Emma's head in his lap as she slept, she was sucking her thumb, 

I looked at the clock it was 1:30 in the afternoon, 

"Why is she asleep already?" I asked 

"Well if I'm correct kids need naps," Tony said walking in

"They do?" I asked confused 

"Of course they do," Bruce said as he chuckled 

"At least on a day," He finished 

"She's never taken one since we had her?" I said 

"I know I'm just as shocked," Tony said 

"Well she was up early today," Steve said 

"Well that makes sense now," Tony said leaving 

I sat next to Steve on the other side where Emma wasn't sleeping, 

"What's in the bag?" He asked 

I showed him the toy, He smiled 

"You think she'll like it?" I asked 

He nodded, 

                                       Emma POV

I heard voices, 

My eyelids slowly flutter open, I must have fallen asleep, I start to rub both of my eyes, with my hand, 

I sit up and yawn, 

"Awake finally are we?" I look to see Steve and Bucky, 

I nodded feeling my cheeks turn red, 

Suddenly I'm lifted I see I'm in Bucky's arms, 

"Come on I need to talk to you," Bucky said as He carried me to his room setting me on my feet, 

"Emma, Bruce brought something to me a few days ago," Bucky said 

"Okay," I said tilting my head,

"He said you have three components that match mine," Bucky said 

"Components?" I said looking at him confused, 

"Never mind, just bottom line I'm your father," Bucky said to me

My eyes widen 

He.... He's my father
