Emma POV
The thunder from the storm outside cracked loud, making me jump out of my sleep, the sweat from my nightmares dripping down my face,
Sometimes I can't even recall the nightmares, all I know is I wake up extremely scared,
The heavy rain bounced off of the metal of the building, the thunder cracking outside, the lightning lighting up the room and sky,
I grabbed the stuffed Fox Daddy gave me and got out of bed,
I walked out of the room, I hear talking,
"Why would she possibly think I wasn't coming back?" I heard daddy ask,
"Maybe people in the past abandoned her," I hear Steve
"No there has to be more to it than that," I hear Nat,
"What are you doing out here?" I hear
I spin around to see Thor, he picked me up,
"Look who I've found," Thor said walking in the room with me in his arms, I held the fox close to my chest,
"Emma what are you doing up?" Daddy said walking over to me,
Daddy took me from Thor's arms,
"I couldn't sleep," I said shrugging,
"Well you need sleep," Daddy said walking down the hall,
"I'm not tired," I said
"You and I know that is a flat out lie," Daddy said
I gave him a really look,
"Don't give me that look young lady," Daddy said as we walked back into my room,
He laid me back on the bed, pulling the covers over me,
"Now try to get some sleep," Daddy said kissing my forehead,
Daddy stood up and just as he was about to leave,
"Will you come back.." I whispered
He stopped in his tracks,
He turned around and walked over to me,
"Emma, as long as I'm breathing I will alway come back, you understand I will always come back for you," Daddy said
I nodded,
He kissed my forehead one last time, and walked out of the room,
Bucky POV
The look in Emma's eyes, I know it too well, it's sadness,
The kid couldn't look more like me, the piercing blue eyes dark hair, but the fear she holds in her eyes,
The fear of being abandoned, I don't know where it's coming from but what I did know is nothing is going to keep me from being there for her,
Nothing now that I know she's my kid, I'm going to do everything I can for her, I thought
