"Oh she called me mom!" My mother cried into my shoulder, squeezing the life out of me through her hug, "you don't know how long I've waited for you to say that!"
"Group hug!" Embry cheered, wrapping his arms around us. Jared, Paul, and Sam all followed in suit, participating in the hug before mom had enough and called it off.
"Let's go get your room set up!" Mom cheered, grabbing some of my stuff out of the back end of Sams truck.
We all grabbed items from the truck and brought them inside, setting them in the living room so Embry could clean up his room quickly.
"I'm done" Embry yelled after we had moved everything inside and into the living room. Embry came out of our room and grabbed my headboard, walking back towards our room quickly.
Sam and Jared both grabbed a few pieces of my bed frame before following after him. Mom and I grabbed the rest of my bed and made it to my room, where Sam was already attaching the head board to the long bit of the frame.
The guys had the bed frame built within 10 minutes, with the mattress and sheets put on it. I finished putting my blankets on the bed, then my stuffed animals that helped me sleep at night.
Embry brought my dresser in and set it down opposite my bed, while Jared put my night stand next to my bed.
"I don't know if there's going to be room in here for your desk" Paul said, walking into the room
"Let's put it in between our dressers," Embry said, moving his dresser to across from his bed, "that way we can both use it and not have to get rid of it"
"Good idea Embry!" I told him, giving him a high five
"I'll go grab it then" Paul said, leaving the room
"You don't care that you had to rearrange you're entire room for me?" I asked Embry, putting clothes into my dresser
"Of course not, I have my baby sister back" he replied
"You don't even know who's younger, who knows, maybe you're younger than me, baby brother" I joked
"Embrys older by 27 1/2 minutes" mom said from hanging up clothes in the closet that Embry only had a suit in
"Haha loser! You got stuck!" Embry laughed, tossing a pillow at my head
"She didn't get stuck, the cord was wrapped around her neck and I had to have a c section"
"Oh, but I'm still older! Suck on that!" Embry yelled, punching his fist in the air
"If you don't get out of my way Call I'm going to drop this desk on your foot!" Paul said sternly, causing Embry to jump out of the way
Paul set the desk down in between the dressers with a grunt. "Thanks Paul" I said, giving him a hug before continuing to put clothes into my dresser
Paul
A large smile broke onto my face, she hugged me, she thanked me for helping her. It's been one of the best days of my life besides when I imprinted on her.
Embry elbowed me and my smile disappeared, then pointed at the alarm clock on his side table. Realization dawned on me and I quickly left, saying that I had to help my father with something when in actuality I was late for patrol.
"Sorry I'm late" I told Leah and Jake once I phased and was on my way to them
"Why the hell are you late! I have things to do!" Leah growled
"Yeah! I'm going to see Bella after this and now I'm going to be late because of you" Jake said
"Sorry, I was with my imprint" I said, hopping over logs and rocks
"Ugh" Leah growled, "she's all you ever think about these days! She's not even special!"
"She's my imprint! Don't you dare talk about her like that!" I growled at her
"She's just a dumb little 15 year old, and how old are you Paul? 20?" Leah growled back to me, mast images of her killing vampires popping into her bed
"I'm 18 Leah! And she's turning 16 in August!" I yelled, not noticing until now that Jake had phased back into his human form
"Yeah? And you're turning 19 in January, that's still a gap!"
"I'm only 2 1/2 years older than her, now tell me Leah, how much older is Quil than his imprint?"
"13 years but he doesn't like her how you like Serenity"
"Her name is Serena! Just because you and Sam didn't work out doesn't mean you have to take it out on me and my imprint!" I growled
"Hey!" Quil yelled, "I've been in form for 10 minutes and all you two have been doing is arguing! Leah you need to shut your trap because Serena is a nice girl! And Paul you know that fate chose for Sam and Leah to not be together so don't bring it up! Now I would like to be done at a decent time so shut up and start running!"
Embry
Mom left to go to work, Sam and Jared went back to Sams house, and Paul had patrol. It was just me and Serena unpacking her things in her room when the first crack of thunder hit.
Serena jumped, dropping the picture frame that was in her hands causing it to hit the ground and shatter. "Ow!" She yelped, bringing her bare foot away from the shattered glass
"Did you get cut?" I asked worried and she nodded her head, sitting down on her bed and showing me the small cut on her foot, "I'll go get a bandaid, just wait here"
Serena
Embry left to get a bandaid so I started to clean the glass up, pulling the picture frame out of the pile and smiling at the picture of Luke and I. "Here's the bandaid, hey, who is that?" Embry asked, looking at the picture
"My friend Luke, he moved to Canada a few days before I started living with Paul" I told him, taking the bandaid and putting it on my cut.
Thunder rumbled loudly causing me to jump again while Embry just laughed, "you're afraid of thunder storms?" He asked me, sweeping the glass up and throwing it away
"Deathly afraid of them, I can't ever sleep while one is going on and it sucks because they happen so often" I replied, jumping at more thunder
