- December 12, two weeks after the tour ended -

Clara's P.O.V.

For what feels like the millionth time, we're all seated around a conference table. We're in (what I think is) the Capitol Records building in LA and we're waiting for Scott to arrive with some 'big news'.
To relieve us from boredom, we've been doing the most random shit we can think of. For instance, Ashton and I have been competing to see who can spin a pen longer (weirdly enough, I won); then there was a debate about what color Michael and I should dye our hair next, and whether or not Kat should dye all of her hair instead of just a dip dye; and now we're all just sitting in silence.

Until Max speaks up.

"Aren't all sweaters technically knit sweaters?" He asks, looking closeley at the sleeve of his green hoodie

"What?" Calum asks

"If you look close enough, it looks knitted." Max says, eyebrows knitting together in concentration. Hehe. So much 'knitting'.

"Is that considered knitted or does it have to be, like, 'hand-knitted'?" Ashton asks

"No idea, man."

"Well that was definitely a very beneficial piece of information. Thank you, Max." I say sarcastically

"Easy on the sarcasm, Clara." Max warns

"Easy on the stupidity, Max." Kat counters

"Burn." Alex says, extending the 'u' sound

"OH MY GOD I GET WHAT YOU MEAN NOW." Michael announces, looking closely at his 'sweater paw' "IT LOOKS LIKE TINY KNITS."

"OH MY GOD WHY DO OUR CONVERATIONS MAKE US SOUND HIGH?" Luke suddenly asks, imitating Michael

"Woah, badass baby Lukey knows what being high is!" Calum says, pinching his cheek

"Shut up." He groans

"I mean, we can't be sure that we aren't high." Max says "Something could be in the vents-"

The door suddenly bursts open and Scott walks in, giving each of us a folder before standing at one end.

"This feels a lot like 21 Jump Street." I say

"I LOVE THAT MOVIE." Calum says

"Just open them." Scott commands

We glance at each other, suspicion evident in everyone's eyes, before opening the folders and seeing something we probably didn't expect at all.

"Socks. You gave us folders with socks." Michael says slowly

"Yes." Scott smiles

Each of us has a pair of socks in our folder with our names and things that apparently represent our personalities. My pair is black with my name in purple letters ('CLA' is on the right sock while 'RA' with a heart is on the left sock) and they have pandas on them.

"Are we supposed to understand this?" Alex asks

"How'd you know I love pandas?" I ask

"These are literally my favorite colors, have you been stalking us?" Kat asks

"Why is everyone's so cute- with puppies and drums and shit- but mine has a bottle of rainbow hair dye. Really?" Michael asks

"Is this because we never wear matching socks?" Calum asks "Scott, you know it's impossible for us to-"

"DAMMIT, THEY'RE GOING ON TOUR WITH YOU!" Scott explodes

"What?" Max asks

"I GET IT." Ashton says "ROCK OUT WITH YOUR SOCKS OUT. I. GET. IT."

"OOOOHHH." Everyone choruses

"So we're stuck together again?" Kat asks

"Ouch." Luke says, holding his heart in mock-pain

"This is going to be so fun, I can't wait!" Ashton says

"It's definitely going to be a tornado. I'm pumped." I smile

"So I don't get credits for my amazing announcing skills with socks?" Scott asks

"I like the creativity." Kat nods "I'll give you credits for that."

"Thank you." Scott says "Now, we'll start planning everything on January 10, if that's okay with you all?"

We all nod in agreement.

"Good. Now, before you all leave, we'll be taking a few promo shots for the tour on the 14th. Be here by 10AM then we'll head to the venue. Okay?"

"Okay." We chorus

"See you all then." Scott says, dismissing the meeting

I feel like I'm hit with deja vu when the eight of us squish into an elevator again.

"We keep doing this." Ashton points out, basically narrating my thoughts

"Normally this would be the part where we suggest doing something insane." Alex says

"Are we doing something insane?" I ask

Kat, Alex, Max, and I glance at each other, mouthing a few words and giving a few nods; which gets us several confused looks from the guys.

"What are you guys thinking?" Calum asks

"We're thinking that The 1975 have a show in a couple days." Kat says

"So?"

"Really? We've been on tour with you guys and you still have to question us?" Alex asks

"I'm confused." Luke says

"We're getting your asses kicked out." Max says
