....
After packing up, I went to my wardrobe. I opened the drawer on the lower part and took my savings. I counted the money. I'd given up counting when I reached 96 400. Its more than enough. I put the money in separate wallets, reminiscing how my mom told me to be careful if I ever get the chance to get out of here.
*flash*
"Mom, what's it like in the city?"
"Hmm..let's see... It's beautiful to look at, especially at night. There are lights everywhere. The lights that the malls emit, the street lamps, the night markets... They're all amazing. Once you get to see them, you'll know."
"Really? I wish I'd be able to see that someday, too."
"Oh, you will, honey. But beware, Natalie, there are many thieves in the city. They can take all of your money by kidnapping you and asking ransoms from your family, or just taking you as a hostage in front of everybody. Sometimes, they just snatch your things; others will even hurt or kill anyone who gets in their way."
"HUH? Then I'd better not go there, after all!"
Mom laughed. "Then what about your dreams of seeing the city?"
"But it's scary!"
"There are ways to prevent that."
"Like...?"
"Put your money in separate wallets. If something ever goes wrong, you could trick then and just give them the wallet with the least money."
"Oh... Figures."
"But I don't think you'd need to do that. You can knock them unconscious with just your looks."
