Spotify VS Youtube The Mind Electric Differences

There are differences between the Youtube  and Spotify versions of The Mind Electric. This is explained in a youtube comment where a user claims it's because one uses distortions and one does not.

Rotary Park Incident
The Rotary Park Incident took place during the filming of the Good Day music video. Zubin Sedghi and Joe Hawley were transporting equipment through Rotary Park during the daylight and got mugged. Because of this incident, Joe no longer eats meat. This incident was later used as the inspiration fir the song 'Rotary Park' on Joe Hawley's album Joe Hawley Joe Hawley which sarcastically claims, 'Rotary Park is safe after dark.'

The Hawaii Part 2 Album Art is actually really weird once you stop to really look at it.

Mucka Blucka Backstory
In this interview, Joe claims there was a song that was mostly swear words that got turned into another song. Many believe this song to be Mucka Blucka due to its satirical nature of 'nearly swearing but not' and the fact that it's an extra to MMMM.

Ross sings in AOHRD

The Apologue of Hot Rod Duncan is actually sung by both Ross and Joe. Joe sings into the right ear and Ross sings into the left. To only hear one, just remove a headphone/earbud.

Many samples and note progression is reused throughout Hawaii Part 2. Some examples include:

1. Introduction To The Snow is just the start of Dream Sweet in C Major.

2. The French parts in Space Station 7 is reused in Dream Sweet in C Major.
(17:10 and 37:07)

3. The 'See how the serfs work the ground' note progression is reused in labyrinth on 'see how I circle.' (23:33 and 24:35)

The Mind Electric also heavily samples Inside The Mind of Simon and Murders is later reused on Variations on a Cloud.

Joe buys weed and hemlocks at the farmer's market

In the JHJH song Crazy F***, Joe mentions buying marijuana (1:57) and hemlocks (2:26). Marijuana was actually illegal in Michigan at the time, (legalised in 2018,) and hemlocks are extremely poisonous.
