About 5000 years ago an epidemic wiped out a prehistoric vilage in China.  The bodies of the dead were all put in a house that  was burned down shortly after.  Skeletons of all ages were found in the house.  The site is now known as 'Hamin Mangha' . The site is found in Northeastern China and is well preserved.  Studies show that the epidemic was happened so rapidly that the was no time for proper burials.  The is no evidence that the site was inhabited again.
