I woke wrapped in Peeta's arms, I don't remember coming upstairs or falling asleep for that matter but after yesterday I did need it

I look over at peeta his face peaceful in sleep I notice how different he looks his face slightly older his features more detailed but still handsome his hair scruffier if possible but still the same ashy blonde colour

His eyes slowly open oh his eyes the beautiful blue colour like the ocean was frozen in them, he smiles when he sees me I smile back, he tucks a loose piece of hair behind my ear

"You know I thought if never see you again"he admits my chest hurts knowing I caused him that kind if pain and dread

"But you did and I'm here to stay"I reassure him he smiles and me and we both lean in and out lips meet

His lips are still soft and gentle like they use to be, I've missed his lips well I've missed his altogether I can't believe I spent four painfully boring years without him

He pulls away and stares at me just looking over my features he look troubled im about to ask him what's wrong when he speaks

"To think I haven't seen you for four years but still everything the same between us"he says I look at him confused

The same? What does he means by that I think he sees I'm confusion and explains

"I mean nothing's awkward or we don't have to work from the beginning"he says I nod

"True but them again we haven't changed much ourselves so we don't need to learn new things about eachother all I've again we already know our likes and dislikes, you know?"I say he nods

"So what are the plans for today"he asks I lay back down

"To lazy around all day with you because I think we've spent so much time apart we need a day together to just lie around all day"I say he chuckles

"I think that too"he says I smile

"Twenty one"he says and laugh airly I look up at him as he looks to me

"What?"I ask he shake his head slightly

"We're twenty one I can't believe it it felt like yesterday we were on the beach one your birthday where we first kissed"he says his voice is dull and sad kinda how I feel when it sinks in

I've spent four years reading and laying around snows mansion I didn't see anyone but the peacekeepers and snow for four god damn years it's hitting me hard right now

I don't know how Long I stay like that just starring into space but I'm drawn out of my thoughts by peeta slipping his hand into mine and lacing our finger together

"Are you alright"he asks I look at him and nod slightly he gives me the 'I don't believe you'look

"You not because for starters your crying and second your starring off into space, so come on tell me"he says I'm crying? I feel my face and yes my cheeks are wet how didn't I notice that before

I sigh "it's just shocking you know spending four years locked away in a mansion I just missed you guys and it's just hitting me hard"I say he nods and pulls me into his arms I lean my head on his shoulder

"I know kat but your here now and I'm not letting you anywhere ever again"he says I smile as I lean up and kiss him softly

"Good cause I'm not going anywhere"I mumble against his lips he kisses me this time we break away out foreheads touching

"You know I could never get bored of that"he says I laugh a little

"Me neither"I say and with that his lips press to mine
