The news (boring chapter)

I'm sitting in the living room,nervous, today we're telling the gang about the Baby. We already told haymitch, he freaked out at first but got really exited, so it wasn't that bad

Everyone comes in, I lean back in Peeta's enbrace, he smiles at me while I look up. We both look back at the gang. Prims sitting next to my on my right and peeta on my left, Johanna's on the floor by finnick and Annie, who are sitting on the love set. And them Cato and clove who are laying on the other couch

"So, why are we here?"Johanna asks, I bite my lip

"We, need to tell you something"I say, I don't know why I'm so nervous, maybe it's because I think they'll disapprove of us having a baby without being married or something stupid

"Which is?"finnick says, I look at peeta to carry on, he senses my nervousness

"We're having a baby"he finishes, it's silent,until prim squeals and jumps up

Even for a sixteen year old she still acts like a little kid, I smile at her

"I'm gonna be an aunt, holy shit"she says, I clear my throat

"Prim"I warn, I don't like her swearing

She mutters an apologise and sits down next to me, a realisation hits me, causeing me to laugh

"Prim you already knew, actually you knew before I did"I say, she blush

"Still, it's kinda awesome"she says, I nod

"Wait, wait, you guys are having a baby"Johanna says, I roll my eyes

"Yeah, literally we just said that"I say, she nods

"So like, a little person."finnick says, I groan

"Yes, a child, a little person, baby, kid. Whatever you wanna call it"I say, he nods

"Totally gonna make it love me"he says, fliping his hair in a dramatic way.

"Oh god help our future children"Annie mutters, we all laugh

"So, this is cool, so I think it's name need to be Johanna the second"Johanna says, I roll my eyes

"Yeah, no"peeta says, with a slight chuckle in his words

"Okay, what are you gonna call it?"Cato asks, I sigh

"We found out two days ago, we don't need to think of names for another whole nine months"I say, he nods

"So you did do the frickle frackle"finnick says, with a cocky smirk

"I thought we already established this?"peeta says,

"Yeah, but now we know it's true"he says, I face plan

"Annie, his can you tell with this"I say, gesturing finnick, she shrugs

"I'll drink a lot in out marriage"she says, we all laugh

"So primmy, how's Rory"I ask, she blushes

"Ooh, primmys got a boyfriend"peeta sings, I start laughing at how red she's gone

"He's okay"she squeaks,

"Aw, prim. I was the same when haymitch Teased me"I say, she smiles

"Nah, you were redder"I hear behind me, without turning I know it's haymitch

"She was?"clove asks, he nods sitting in his chair

"Yep"he says, I groan

"Really, what did you expect, I'd never had friends before let alone a boyfriend"I say, he rolls his eyes

"Yeah yeah, still it was funny"he says, I sigh

"Whatever old man"I say, he chuckles

"You too are very weird"Annie says, I look over

"How"she smiles

"If you saw how a conversation look from out point if view, you would understand"she says, I rolls my eyes, again for the fifth time today

"Okay, bye"Cato says, they all leave to go and do something

Now me and peeta have to tell his parents and his brothers, who I've only met twice

*time skip*

We walk into there house, there all standin around the kitchen, wheat smirks when he sees me

"Hey katniss"he says, I nod

He sticks a hand out for me to shake, I know for a fact he's got one of those elctric shock things on, I put my hand in his and freeze his hand slightly, he jumps back in shock, we all laugh

"I'm not stupid"I say, he nods

"Cause not"he says scarcasiclly

"I will freeze your ass, or burn it"I say, he runs behind his dad

"Hell nah"he says, I grin

"So, why are you guys here?"his dad asks, I smile nerovusly to peeta, he wraps his arms around me from behind

"We've got something to tell you"he says, I wonder how peeta can never be nerovus, like at all. He's so calm all the time, it's weird

"Which is?"Tyler, his oldest brother asks

"We're, having a baby"he finishes, they all smile, while wheat laughs evily

"Is that normal"I whisper to peeta, he shakes his head

"Wait for it"he says, we wait a moment before his brother stands

"I'm gonna be teaching this kid all I know"he says, I mentally faceplam

"Which isn't much"peeta says, me and Tyler laugh

"Anyways, that's good. Just please don't break the kid"his mother jokes (a/n yes she's nice in this one)

"How would we break a child?"I ask, she smiles

"Many ways"she says looking at wheat, I smirk

"I have exprenice, I looked after my sister prim for. When she was a baby, to when she was five years old while my parents worked"I say,

"I saw prim the other day with a young boy"mr mellark says,

"I can just imagine prim turning red at that statement"I mutter, peeta chuckles

"Same"he says

We talk for ages, wheat try's to pull more pranks but it's useless, eventully we just go home and watch movies all night and then head off to bed

Today's been a very calm day, I bet we won't get many of those around here
