Nightmares

Were sitting in the living room talking. The group got back last night and some this morning, finnick and Annie are talking about moving out before the wedding

I'm laying with my head on Peeta's chest and his arms around my shoulders, johana keeps looking between us. It's creeping me out

"So we decided that we would move into the beach house, on the beach finnicks family owns"Annie says, she's been really happy and jumpy since finnick proposed

She's like a kid who's eaten a lot of sugar. Huh, she's dating finnick so it makes sense

"What's going on with you guys"clove speaks up, point at us

We exchange a glance and look back to them, I shrug

"Nothing why?"I ask, they eye us suspiciously

"Your really close,your Smiling like idiots, and your both blushing when you look at each other"finnick says, that comment makes us blush even deeper

"We're always close"peeta says, Johanna smirks

"I know! You too did 'it'. Didn't you!"she exclaims, we both blush, we could bring a tomato to shame

"Shut.up.johanna"I state, they all laugh

"You did it"Cato starts shouting, I groan

Haymitch walks in his eyebrow raised as Cato sings, my eyes widen, I slap my hand over Catos mouth

"Shut up"I whisper

"Who did what?"haymitch asks, everyone glances to us, we both blush deeper is possible

"Nothing"I answer quickly, he smirks and walks out

I bury my head on peeta chest, I Defiantly don't want to tell my uncle I had sex

"So you did the frickle frackle"finnick says, I lift my head up and look at him with the 'wtf' face, as does everyone else

"Frickle frackle?"peeta asks, finnick nods

"Yeah it's a cleaner word"he says, we all mentally face palm

"So anyways, your no longer virgins, finally you too-"Johanna starts, I cut her off. I throw a snow ball at her.

"Can we not talk about this"I pled, she smirks but nods

"So Annie, finnick, when the wedding."clove asks, they both smile to each other

"We want it in the summer, and on the beach. The one finnicks family owns"Annie says, I smile

That's the beach I had my first kiss. My first kiss with peeta, the day we got together, I look at him and see he's thinking about it too, he's got a smile playing on his lips and he's starring off into space

"That's cool"Cato says, they nod

After an hour and a half of talking, laughing and being embarrassed by our friends, I fall asleep

I wake a short while later being carried into my room, I'm still groggy from sleep. I can't quite comprehend what's happening apart from being put on my bed

The lights are turned out and the doors shut. I hear footsteps going down stairs, i assume it's peeta. Somehow I drift off again

I'm standing in snows mansion, the floor Is crimson like blood and the walls are white as snow, I'm back locked here again

I smell the disgusting stretch of blood, I know this scent to well, it's his breath

I always wondered why it smelt like that, what does he do drink it? I'm not sure

I look around and see I'm in his office, two peacekeepers are standing in front of me, snows sitting in his car, I notice a blonde girl being held up by the peacekeepers

She looks up and I gaps I horror, prim. My little duck, covered in bruises and blood, I want to scream or cry, probably both, but I can't I'm frozen

Snow lifts a knife, he smirks an menacing smirk before plunging it into her chest, I try and move but it's lie I'm glued to the floor, I scream and shout as we fragile body crumpled to the floor

~dream over~

"Katniss"I hear a faint familiar voice call

I feel a hand on my shoulder gently shaking me

"Kat, wake up. Please"I hear again, this time closer

I open my eyes, I meet the blue eyes I'm familiar too. He looks worried

My cheeks are week and my throat feels like sandpaper. He wraps his arms around me as I sob

I lean into his chest, I'm crying heavily, he's stroking my hair and whispering sweet nothings I to my ear

"Ssh. It's not real, okay? Your safe at home"he says, I nod, slowly my sobs turn to hiccups and then to shaky breaths

I pull away and look into his eyes, there filled with concern

"Are you ok?"he asks, I nod

"Yeah, just a nightmare"I whisper, he nods

"Wanna go back to sleep"he ask, I shake my head

"I....I can't it'll Be worse"I stutter, he cups my face

"Go to sleep, I'll fight off the nightmares"he coos, I nod, he presses his lips to mine, it's soft and reassuring

I lay back down, he wraps his arms around me, rubbing soothing circles in my hand, I slowly drift off into oblivion
