I was a goner from the very first time I saw him. The very first time he snatched my crayon from me in pre-school, to give it to his crush. It was a yellow crayon, the exact colour of the shirt he was wearing that day. I don’t even know what made me like him so much, maybe it was his warm hazel-green eyes or his charcoal black hair. Even at the age of five I knew I wouldn’t be able to get him out of my head. Everyone knew that I had a crush on him, even he did.

Even though I was used to him brushing me off at my failing attempts to asking him out or starting a conversation with him, it would always hurt. I tried not to let it get to me, I always acted invincible but my best friend Jessica would always see through my act. She always told me to keep my head high and keep trying. So I did. I kept trying, I know in his eyes-or any ones- I would come off as annoying, but I couldn’t help it.

We’ve known each other since we were kids; he grew up knowing about my crush on him. He wasn’t the typical bad boy, yeah he had girlfriends and I would see them making out and it would break my heart but he didn’t have a bad past or a messed up family, I’m pretty sure he’d smoked once or twice but he was actually nice. He wasn’t a jerk, he would never pick on a kid-he once stood up for a boy being bullied-but he was never the bully. He’s captain of the soccer team and an amazing one at that.

He is the hottest guy in school-well in my eyes, the world-he has charcoal black hair that was always in the messy bed hairstyle, with hazel-green eyes that could hypnotise you and has a dimple on his left cheek that stood out on his sharp jawline. He had broad shoulders, bulging muscles in his arms that would stand out in anything he wears or does and a sexy set of six pack abs that he worked hard for. He stood at six-foot-three, towering over my five-foot-three frame. He has tanned skin with long black eyelashes that caress his eyelids. I don’t think I mentioned this, but his name is Cade De Leo, gosh even his name sends tingles throughout my body. He’s Italian, hence his tanned skin and sexy name.

“Alexis!” Jessica shouts.

I look towards my best friend who stands tall and gorgeous with her straight black hair and ocean blue eyes, compared to my short frame and unnaturally, natural dark red, curly hair. I have fair skin with a few freckles over my nose and cheeks. My cheeks have a big dimple on each side and I have big round violet-blue eyes.

I’m a senior in school with one best friend-Jessica-and two brothers.

Yeah, I’m a triplet.

Alec is the oldest-older than me by fifteen minutes; Alex is second, older than me by seven minutes and lastly, me. My brothers share my father’s grey eyes and brown curly hair, when I take after my mother with her dark red curls, she also has grey eyes. I don’t know how I ended up with violet-blue eyes though, when no one in my family has them.

My brothers are what you call the definition of protective, yeah we fight ninety-eight percent of the time but they always have my back. They had told all of the guys on the soccer team to stay away from me and any guy, who had come close to asking me out, had backed away with just one glare from the boys. Their soccer mates are in on it to, even though they were warned, they also see me as their baby sister. So not only do I have two protective brothers but a whole damn soccer team making sure boys stay away.
