Jannat Ke Pattay (fanfiction)

Introduction/Disclaimer

Hey guys,

This book is a fanfiction written in Roman Urdu based on an Urdu novel "Jannat Ke Pattay" (leaves of heaven) written by Nemrah Ahmed.

I absolutely fell in love with Jannat kay pattay and wanted more. Hence, I decided to write a fanfiction in Roman Urdu.

Please read this book only if you have read the original one as this book contains major spoilers and a lot of the parts are taken from the original book.

Also, I honestly do not know if writing a fanfiction without the author's consent is considered as a copyright infringement or not. Just decided to write one as I have seen and read a lot of fanfictions on wattpad.

In any case, if Nemrah Ahmad finds out about this fanfiction and would want me to delete it, I would do it right away. I did message her on Instagram to ask her about the same, but didn't receive any reply.

I would like to apologize in advance to the fans of  "Jannat kay pattay (JKP)" who would stumble upon this fanfiction and don't find it up to their expectations and also feel like I haven't done justice to the original book.

Honestly, Nemrah Ahmad is an amazing writer Ma sha Allah. So please don't expect my writing to be as good as hers. Although I tried my best to copy her writing style from JKP, but it isn't easy. Moreover, I am just a layman when it comes to writing stories. So don't expect me to write as intelligently as Nemrah did.

Many of you might say why don't I just come up with my own original story instead of using someone else's characters and all that. The only reason why I started this fanfiction is because I just wanted more of JKP. Eventhough the book has everything a reader can ask for but some books leave a lasting impact on you and inturn you gasp for more. That's exactly what happened to me. Plus, JKP has a lot of potential in it and a lot more can be done with it. However, I do respect Nemrah's choice to not want to write a sequel.

Last but not the least, thank you to my readers for giving this book a chance.
