Jayda POV
I walked in the house as usual I was alone. I miss my mama so much she was the only one that showed me love and affection. I headed to my room to take a shower and get ready. Once I was out the shower I went into my closet and pulled out my clothes. I curled my hair and pinned it up. I slipped on my pink dress with my white nike shoes. I put on my necklace with my initials on it and my watch. I sprayed my perfume on and oiled my legs up. I got text from India saying she was outside. I walked outside and locked the door. I got in the car and we were on the way to the game.
"You look so sexy Jayda" Peyton said
"Yeah you look good" India said
"Thanks y'all look cute to" I said
Peyton was a brown skin short and skinny girl with some curly hair with plumped brown lips. She reminded me of my childhood friend that I had back when my mama was around and everything was good. We pulled up back to school. The parking lot was crowded with people from our school and the other team school.
"Why Layla always feel the need to be all up under Kylen all the time like bitch give him so breathing room" Peyton said
"Bitch be quiet you just like him" India said
"You like Kylen?"I asked Peyton
"No this hoe lying I have no feelings for him" Peyton said
"She lying trust me you'll see tonight" India said
We were walking into the gym it was so packed. There seem to be diehard fans for both teams. I noticed Ryan from earlier in a jersey. No wonder why he was so popular and everyone was talking about him. I watched as he walked over to some dudes and shook their hand weirdly ohhh well that was none of my business.
We made our way to the other side of the gym where our school was. I told India and Peyton I was going to get some snacks and asked them what they wanted and they both told me what they wanted. I walked to the concession stand and bought me some and my girls some snacks. As soon as I turn around to go back to my seat I'm approached by Erica and her friends.
"Hey ugly hoe" Erica said laughing
"Girl grow up... I don't even know your ass" I said
"Girl you know what" Erica said getting cut off
"Hey my lil cheerleader" Some Boy said
"Yes Chris you know I am" Erica said all sweet and innocent
"Thanks baby and are you one of my girl friends?" Chris asked looking at me
Before I could speak for myself Erica spoke for me
"No she's just a random" Erica said with a smile
"Girl fuck you" I said putting my middle finger right in her face and walking off.
I couldn't even believe I did that probably was just pent up anger I had. I made my way back to the bleachers trying to forget about Erica. I wonder why that boy was even with her. She must acts like a completely different person around him.
"Why you making that face Jayda?" Peyton asked while laughing at me.
"I ran into Erica and as you can tell by my face it didn't go well" I said
"Forget her she's such a bitch, she thinks she can get any and everything she wants" India said
"How did she even get a boyfriend?" I asked
"Girl I don't even know but they been together since 9th grade, and back then she wasn't so bad" Peyton said
"She was actually tolerable and very sweet until we got into 10th grade" India said
"She has an ugly personality " I said
"Yeah Chris ass must be blind and dumb" Peyton said
Soon Kylen walked up with some girl on his arm. I recognized her from earlier with my encounter with Erica. She had caramel skin with her black hair slicked into a long ponytail. She had a piercing on her nose which I thought was cute. Kylen introduced me to her and of course she was Layla. I could see Peyton getting jealous by the second. I guess India was right she liked him and I can see why she's denying it. She probably doesn't want to ruin their friendship and I don't blame her. I would never be that bold to tell a boy how I felt about him.
"Kylen why you all up on Layla give her some breathing room" Peyton said
"I can be on her all I want we made it official" Kylen said
"Mmhhh Whatever" Peyton said rolling her eyes
"You ain't happy for me best friend" Kylen said looking at Peyton she just turned her head and he shook his and made a sad face.
"Well I have to get going the game about to start" Kylen said
"Have a good game" we all said except Peyton
Kylen gave Layla a kiss and walks to the locker room with the rest of the team.
"Layla why you still over here trynna front like you really like us" India said
Layla made a smirk with her mouth and said
"You right I don't like y'all bye" Layla said rolling her eyes and walking away.
"We should get along with her for Kylen" I said while trying to fight my laugh
"No because she's fake asf trust me" India said
"She's right Layla fake as hell she only acts nice to us whenever Kylen around" Peyton said
The game was starting and they were introducing every player on the team. I noticed that they called the boy that was throwing the party. So I decided to ask the girls about him.
"Y'all what's up with the boy throwing the party" I said
"Ain't much to say about him all we know is it just him and his older brother" India said
"We would know more about him if he wasn't so private" Peyton said
"Well I guess he remains a mystery" I said
We watched the game and talked for the rest of our time and our school team won. After the game was officially over we walked to India's car.
Since the party didn't start til 6:30 we decided we should change again. We agreed to go to the mall and change at India house. We pulled up to the mall and half the school was in the mall. Once we were done shopping we left and headed to India house.
