Chapter 1

"Babe! Where are we going?!" Jimin shrieked in joy, laughter following the words that came out. His hand getting pulled by his boyfriend, Daniel, dragging him to his high school building's rooftop. "C'mon!! I have to tell you something on the rooftop" Daniel said, his smile looking a bit forced but that wasn't noticed by Jimin.

Jimin's mind went through so many questions in that phrase as of "is he going to give me something?", "are we finally adopting a cat?" and there's so much more to tell. His heart squeezed in love,  overwhelming love.

Daniel stood by the lock of the rooftop door, pointing his index finger. The lock came off in a light beam, a white little lazer that cut through metal slowly. Jimin just looked at Daniel, smiling as if there's nothing wrong in the world. Such innocence.

The younger one pulled Jimin and himself through and stood in the middle of the rooftop garden full of blooming fragrant flowers, the view was breathtaking. "Okay!! You better tell me what's up" The newly graduated student cocked his hips with a smile with hands on his waist.

"I want to break up with you"

"..what?"

Daniel looked at Jimin straight into his eyes," I said, I want to break up with you" his voice held no remorse. As if this is just a game in the kindergarten playground in the tunnel, saying that it was just only a dare from his friends. Jimin took the reins of his feelings and hid it as he said: "but why?". His wonderful relationship with his soon-to-be ex-boyfriend of 2 years. 2 Years of laughter, joy, and youth. Was it just a joke?

"It's probably because of you not having power? I don't know. I don't want to be with someone that is weak y' know? it's going to be not good for my offspring. It just means you're higher maintenance and not as exciting. I mean you're my best friend so you understand right? No hard feelings? This is just high school anyways, it's a place full of experiments." Daniel chuckled. Jimin was already feeling small, feeling lost in the moment.

"Oh.. That's alright "Jimin forcibly made himself chuckle, whelving his pain away. Not wanting his ex to see how affected Jimin is in the break-up.

"And i have a girlfriend now," the younger said, looking far away having a fond smile. Jimin's heart fucking stopped beating."Excuse me? Since when?" Jimin looked at Daniel's side profile, shocked by the news. "I think it's been a year now? She can levitate a few metal things so that's a plus!! So we cool right? We friends anyways and you were kind enough to help with homework too! It's not your fault, it's mine. So yea?" He said, he had the fucking audacity to actually say it straight to his face.

"Yeah we cool," Jimin said head tilted to the side, he hated it. He hates how Daniel doesn't give a flying fuck of their "relationship". Hates that he's the only one feeling like this, feeling so small. Feeling worthless.

He ran. Jimin ran. He ran home, his safe haven. A place that's okay to cry. His parents, his mother having the power of looking like she's in her prime time and his father having a power of levitating, returned home when Jimin said that Daniel had something to tell him.

His mom cooking, his brother is almost home from Seoul, and his father is out to buy the cake for this celebration. Jimin ran to his room while shouting," I'm gonna get some fresh air!!" and climb through his window and to his rooftop.

He sat down apple-sauce and cried his heart out. He cried like there's no tomorrow, sobbing on the rooftop of his house, letting out all the emotions he's feeling that he whelved on his way home. He felt so useless. He fucking dreamed that he and Daniel being in college, adopting a cat, and having a great time, turns out it was just a shitwad of a fairytale.

Jimin was always a crybaby, but in high school, he never once cried in fear of getting bullied, for being too weak. Almost everyone in his school has powers, no matter if its a cool power or a simple one. But Jimin paid no mind to that, he wanted to prove that he can be even better than them by being one of the smartest students in Busan.

He fucking studied day and night, be kind to everyone even if they sometimes make fun of him, learned self-defense and so much more. He had given his all to Daniel, his time, Even in exam week, one of the most stressful days in school, Daniel would ask for Jimin to go to his house to bring food and have a short cuddle session then sent him back home in the late evening.

He cried, wanting to rip out the pain. His chest feeling as if it's being squeezed. He can get over this, this is just some stupid love story after all.When he rubbed his small fists to his eyes saw something strange.

He slightly tilted his head upward, eyes growing to dinner plates. His tears floating around him, having either form of animals of just blobs around him. He stood up, quickly looking around seeing that his tears formed something that reached the blue sky.

"..What?" he whispered to himself, unbelievable. After 16 years of not having powers, it finally showed up. He tried to control it, trying to form a few blobs to some shapes. It worked!! "Holy fuckin shit" he looked around and saw that they were some fish tears that were going around him with speed and was also nuzzling his red apple cheeks.

Trying to cheer him up? He looked astounded. He holds out his arms and made a small bowl with his palms. A delicate-looking tear-fish came and started to nuzzle his palms as if trying to comfort him.

"Hi..?" he whispered, scared that this might be just a dream. Scared that this might be some kind of sick joke. The tear-fish just swam in a small circle in his palms, feeling the excitement through the small act."Um, will it be okay if I showed you to my mom? " Jimin said carefully. Then suddenly all the tears that were in the middle of the sky fell, not hitting him once, just around him in a perfect circle. The only few that didn't fell were the tear-fish in his hands and a few of either blobs or fishes circling his petite form.

"Is that a yes?" and shockingly, no cap, the tear-fish fucking nods.
