I walk to my kitchen and take out the fruit and vegetables in the basket. I then take out a chopping board and knife from the cupboards and begin chopping the fruits.

Beforehand, I made sure to preheat the stove and add water into a pot. Once I'm done chopping all the fruits and veggies, I place them into the pot with the boiling water and place a lid on the pot.

I then scrummage through my cupboards, in search of spices. Once found, I open the pot to see the stew brewing perfectly. I smile and start to add the spices. I then take a wooden spoon and stir the soup.

I place the spoon on the counter and close the pot. I turn around and a sword is to my neck. The same black haired boy is holding a sword (the sword that I keep in my room to be exact) to my neck. His eyes are pooled with an onyx colour.

I smile.

"I see you've awakened." I spoke, side stepping him to walk to the other side of the kitchen. There I get two bowls for the soup. The boy holds a sword to my neck once again, but in a choke hold position so I can't escape.

"Where am I?"

His voice is deep, but it's like an ocean. Its calling you over with its everlasting beauty only for you to die.

"Where I live. Now may you please remove the sword from my neck, I have to prepare dinner." I spoke politely.

"What am I doing here?" he asked again, ignoring my words; in fact he tightened his grip. I didn't flinch.

I closed my eyes. "Listen can you just--"

I'm cut off by heavy banging by my door. "Hey F/S! The village chief is here and we want to know why you're hording a demon!!" Griffin's voice was heard.

"Un-Holy Lord have mercy on my soul." I whispered before turning my head to the side, looking at the mysterious black haired boy. "Would you mind releasing me from your uncomfortable clutch so I can answer the door?" I asked.

"Why should I? I should slit your throat right here and go on about my day, leaving you here to die." the boy spoke threateningly. I chuckled slightly. "Oh believe me sir it wouldn't be that easy." I smiled.

When I realized he wouldn't release me, I sighed. "Allow me to explain once I have spoken to the people behind that door." I suggested. "I never let go of the fact that they know I am a demon." the boy grumbled.

"I can have them leave their statement if you would just let me go." I reasoned. The boy sighed before letting me go. "Now I'd prefer if you could stay in my room for the time being." I spoke.

I didn't give him a chance to answer because I shoved him into my room and closed the door. I made sure to mess my hair a bit (to make it look as if I was really busy) and walked to the door. I opened it too see a fuming Griffin and the Village Chief next to him.

"Afternoon Village Chief, a pleasure to see you again Griffin." I greeted.

"Don't sweet talk us! We know you're hiding a demon in your house!" Griffin yelled. "Griffy, I find it rude that you can talk to your elder in such a manner. Why not let the Village Chief speak." I spoke before turning to the Chief.

"Great too see you again, F/N. Whatever happened to our morning teas?" Chief asked. "I can't really say, Chief. I have gotten busier in the coming days of war." I explained.

"This ain't some get together party!" Griffin yelled. "Yes, you're right, Griffin. F/N, I know you personally and I know I can trust your words." Chief started.

"Are you holding a demon hostage in the likings of your home?" Chief asked. "Now that there is a silly question. I would never hold anyone hostage and it would never be a demon, at that. I just found an injured along the outskirts of the forest and had decided to bring him here to tend to his wounds." I explained.

The Village Chief smiled gently." Good to know that. Would you allow me to come inside and take a look at this boy?" he asked. I shook my head. "No, my apologies. I am still tending to his wounds and I would like to do it alone." I speak.

"If that is all, would you please leave so I can continue helping my patient?" I asked gently, smiling.

The Chief nodded and proceeded to leave. Griffin was right behind him, but not after pointing his two fingers to his eyes then me.

I closed the door and went to the kitchen. The boy exits my room and watches as I remove the pot from the stove. "Now about those answers you so desperately need." I start.

"I am not desperate." the boy spoke. I poured some stew into the two bowls. "And I did not just lie to my Village Chief." I countered. I turned around and walked to the living room, the bowls of stew in my hand.

"Now come sit down, you need to eat." I offered. The boy reluctantly came to the living room and sat down next to me. I give him his bowl of stew.

"How exactly did you reach such a state of death?" I asked. "I'm the person who is supposed to be asking the questions." the boy grumbles, drinking his stew.

"Well I can't be sure to answer your questions if you don't answer mine." I smile, taking a sip of my stew. The boy looks at me. "I am not going to answer your questions." he stated.

I sighed, knowing there was no way to go around it (at least not now). "Okay. To begin with how you got here, you basically crashed right in front of me when I was collecting fruits. From where you crashed is a wonder itself. I took you back to my village, a.k.a my home and tended to your wounds here. They were quite life threatening to me. It's a miracle how you still are alive. Then again you are a demon so you could just heal yourself." I explained.

"If you knew I could heal my wounds, why would you tend to them?" asked the boy.

"You were in no state to heal your wounds. I'm guessing you had been healing them with the little amount of power you had." I mused. "I must thank you for your kindness, but I can not say I can repay you." The boy speaks, standing up.

"But I should be going now." he spoke, walking to the door. I jumped off my couch and to the front of him. "Now do not expect that you are off the hook; you still have a few questions you need to answer. Plus, your wounds have only started to heal, it will take some time to heal fully so you should stay here for the time being. And if you move too much your wounds would become worse." I offered.

"Why would you help a demon?" he asked. "Every person needs help during this war, even demons." I spoke, smiling.

"Plus, I'd like to know more about you." I spoke, walking back to the kitchen. I took my sword from there. "And would you mind not touching my stuff. I would very much not like them dented." I spoke, walking to my bedroom.
