REGRETS

I died a thousand deaths,
Yet my heart's beat keeps,
I was left with no choice,
But to lower down my poise.

I lowered down my vision,
And saw a pair of shoes that are golden.
My fruit then risen,
Awfully, I can no longer fit them.

I turned my back, faced where I've been,
And saw the path filled of prints.
A small smile creeps in,
Memories shows up that forever I'll be keepin'.

I was busy counting the stars up high,
As my feet marks the path as I pass by.
Straight path, never turning my head on what's left,
Heads up, never looking down what's beneath.

I know that there were growing seeds,
As I felt the watering of my lids.
It fast became a tree so tall,
That bore fruits and regret is what we call.
