I wake up to the annoying sound of the alarm, and I don't want to listen to it for the rest of the morning, so I get up and shut it off, then walk into the bathroom, until I realise where I'm going today. Yes! I'm going to the ALDC! I quickly wash my face, brush my teeth, do my hair in a bun at on the top of my head,  then put on my leotard and tights:

Then I put on this outfit over it:

I then put some extra tights, all of my new dance shoes shoes because I don't know what style of dance we're doing, and a large water bottle in my dance bag:

Before going down to breakfast. I walk down to the kitchen, where I find mum making  chocolate chip pancakes. "Morning Louiseysquezzy," she says. "Hey," I say setting down my dance bag and sitting at the island table. "You nervous?" She says, turning around and dishing out the pancakes. "Yes," I say, eating a pancake. "I mean, could you blame me? This is Abby lee miller we're talking about," I say, eating the last pancake. "Oh yeah, could I get a Starbucks? Please?" I say, giving her the pleading eyes. "Ok, we have to go now anyways." She says. "Thank you!" I say, grabbing my purse and walking out to the car with her. I lock the front door while she opens the car (it's a Range Rover) and gets in. I walk around to the other side and get in shotgun. "Alright, this Starbucks have a drive-through anyway, so we'll go there then go straight to the studio. Okay?" Mum says as I hand her the front door keys. "Okay," I say smiling. "Let's do this," mum says which I laugh at. We drive to Starbucks and the lady over the intercom says, "hello Starbucks can I take your order," so I lean over so she can hear me and say, "hi, could i have a venti caramel frappichino with no coffee and whipped cream please," to which she responds "of course, would that be all?" Mum chimes in saying, "could I please have an iced almond milk latte (with no syrup this time) please?" "Yes, is that it?" The girl says, to which we respond with, "yes," "alright just go to the next window then," "thanks," we say in unison. We drive to the next window and mum puts in her card and does the pin. The lady says, "okay, it's been accepted, here are your drinks," she hands them to us, and we say 'thanks' before driving away. By the time we got to the ALDC, I had already finished my frappichino. I take in a nervous breath. Mum notices. "You'll be fine, I'm sure everyone's super nice." "Okay," I say, and I grab my bag and my empty cup, and we walk towards the studio. On the way in, I throw my empty cup in the bin (the trash) and we walk towards the front desk. And guess who's sitting there. Abby. I put on a straight face, but internally I'm freaking out. "Hi!" She says exitedly, "you must be Louise and Sarah O'Niell. I'm Abby lee miller, welcome to our studio." "Hi," mum says. "Hi," I nervously say. "Hi,there's no need to worry, we don't bite! I'll just sign you into our system.... there. Alright, the girls knew you would be coming, so I'll take you both in to introduce yourselves." "Okay," we say, and we follow her into a door that said: dancers den, dancers only! We walked in, and Abby said, "girls, girls! There is someone I would like you to meet, this is Louise O'Niell," I gave a smile and a wave, "and her mother Sarah O'Niell." Mum said, "hi," Abby continues, "I would like you all to be nice and kind to her, and help her settle into the studio, since she's came all the way from Ireland." She nods to us, "I'll let you properly introduce yourselves." And with that, she leaves. The girls and their mothers come over to us. A blonde girl says, "hi, I'm Chloe Lukasiak , and this is my mom Christi." "Hi," "hello," "it's nice to meet you." "It's nice to meet you too." Another blonde girl says, "hi, I'm Paige Hyland, this is my sister Brooke and my mom Kelly." "Lovely to meet you." "You too," next, a brown haired girl goes. "Hi, I'm Maddie Ziegler, this is my sister Mackenzie and my mom Melissa. Nice to meet you." "You as well," lastly, a dark skinned brown haired girl goes. "I'm Nia Frazier, and this is my mom holly. Nice to meet you." "You too." "Shall we go and get to know you more before class starts?" Chloe says. "Good idea!" I say, and we go over to the corner as the mums go upstairs. "Do you mind if I take off the stuff that are over my dance stuff here?" I ask. "Of course not, we do that everyday!" Chloe says, and I smile and nod. Once I've finished changing, I sit down and we start stretching while talking to each other. "So, what brings you to America?" Nia asks and I say, "well, I was just finishing a class the week after a competition, and my mum burst in saying Abby had seen my solo video and wanted me on her competition team, and here we are," "Nice, by the way, I love your accent." Maddie says, and everybody else says, "same," I blush and say, "thanks, I like your guys accent too," they smile. Chloe says, "what's you favourite style of dance?" I answer, "lyrical or lyrical contemporary, but I love all styles," "cool," Paige says, "what got you into dance?" "Well, back in Ireland I got bullied a lot, and dance was a way to express my self without words." Chloe says, "that's so sad, I'm so sorry," I just shrug and say, "it's fine, I learned to ignore it after awhile. Oh yeah, I forgot to ask, what shoes do you guys normally wear?" They lift their feet up to reveal this shoe:

"Thanks," I say, and I put them on. Just then I hear, "moms, come down!" Then Abby walks in and says, "girls, come on, it's time to announce the dances." We get up and walk into studio a, where we find the moms waiting for us. My mum looks like she's already friends with all the moms, especially Christi and Kelly, so i smile at her. She smiles back, and we walk to the middle of the floor facing the mirror. I'm between Chloe and Maddie, who put their feet in first position and put their hands behind their back, so I do the same. Abby smiles at this, before saying, "alright! A new competition season, we won nationals!" The girls clap. "It was a great number, I was very proud. But, it's a new competition season, and we have a new dancer. It looks like you have been nice to her and her mother, so thank you. The competition we will be going to is in10city dance competition, in Alabama. Alright, solos! Maddie, you have a contemporary solo called I will fly. It's about a bird who has broken its wing and is learning to fly again. Next, Chloe. You have a solo called immortals. It's all in the title. Finally, Louise. You have to prove yourself as a dancer, and what better way to do that than a solo? Your solo is called left to the wolves, I know you've been bullied in the past, so this is the solo that will show that. I want you to show all of your emotion. This will determine whether or not you get your jacket. I do not care if you win or lose, I want you to give it your all so that I can see how you fit in with the team. Next, duet/ trio/ mini groups. Maddie, Chloe, Paige and Louise have a mini group. It's called girls run the world. Next, Nia and Brooke. You have a duet called radioactive. The group is a contemporary routine called natural. It's about not being prey, but rather the Hunter. That's what I think the ALDC is. Ok moms, you are dismissed, girls let's get started on the group. Here's the music:

We listened to the music and immediately fell in love with it. We did the group dance choreography perfectly, then it was time for Maddie, Chloe Paige and i's mini group. Here's the music:

We once again did it perfectly, so we went in to get Nia and Brooke for their duet. Their music was this:

Then it was Maddie's solo time. Her song was this:

Then it was Chloe's turn. Her music was this:

Finally, it was my turn. My music was this:

I finished, and Abby clapped and said, "that was very good," so I thanked her and left.

Time skip to day before competition
