Chapter Twenty-One

Seph:
Short break but we're rehearsing

His bubble appeared instantly. Halatang nakaabang sa text ko. He was typing and after some seconds, I received it.

Hades:
I miss you

Inulit niya ang text kanina. Alam ko agad ang gusto niyang mangyari. Umirap ako pero napangiti pa rin.

Seph:
I miss you too

I could imagine him boyishly grinning after reading my text.

Hades:
Baby, can I see you later?

Seph:
How?
Babalik ka na sa bahay niyo 'di ba?

Since his family finally returned from France, he was going to return to their mansion, too. Hindi na kami magkikita gabi-gabi kagaya nang nakasanayan ko nitong nakaraang mga linggo.

Hades:
I can go to your unit after our dinner then I'll just go back home by eleven

Seph:
Your family just got back. Spend some time with them.

Hades:

Seph:
Got to go, lover. I'll talk to you later.

Masyado akong nagtagal sa banyo. Pagbalik ko ay wala na si Rowan at pinapatawag na kami ni Direk.

Mabilis na lumipad ang oras sa sunod-sunod na scenes at maikling breaks in between. I really prefer it that way. Ayaw ko nang naghihintay nang matagal. Kapag sunod-sunod ang eksena ko, mas hindi ko ramdam ang oras.

Seph:

Hades:
Wish you were coming home to me.

That got me pouting. I wished I was coming home to him, too. Nasanay ako masyado na siya lagi ang inuuwian araw-araw. I could already imagine the silence that would welcome me as soon as I go home.

Just like always, Kuya Victor dropped me at the basement parking. I casually strutted towards the elevator and pressed the button. I crossed my arms and watched as they disappear from my view.

Once the coast was clear, I headed to where my car was parked. I wore my black cap and face mask for incognito. Tinted naman ang sasakyan kaya walang makakakita sa akin pero dadaan pa kasi ako ng Burger King drive-thru.

The cap and the mask made sure that I won't get recognized by the staff, kaya safe naman akong nakabili ng pagkain. I just got myself some chicken nuggets and a drink. Si Hadeon ay binilhan ko ng Whopper. I know how much fond he was of Burger King.

Their estate was easy to locate, thanks to Waze. Nang nasa entrance na ako ay hinarang ako ng guard. Bigla akong kinabahan. I had to pull over and roll down my window.
