"YOU ARE BY MY SIDDEEEEEEEEEE, ONCE IN A LIFETIME YOU WERE MINE....." Emily sings at the top of her lungs in the passenger seat of my Jeep. It's been an hour full of singing One Direction, trying to put on mascara in the car, and trying to choose the right shade of lipstick for Emily. I'm also pretty sure she sprayed the entire bottle of Our Moment; my car will never smell the same. We only have about 20 minutes until we reach Nashville where the concert is. It's at LP Field which is huge, but we got really good seats.
"I'm starving," Em says.
"Me too. My stomach has been growling since we left."
"Well we have about 4 hours until the concert actually starts so we can probably eat and maybe look around in the shops down town."
"Sounds like a plan! Hey, what about eating at the Hard Rock Cafe?" I suggest. I know Em loves it.
"O my, yessss! Thank youuuuu!" She gets so excited I think she's about to jump out of the car.
---
Once we finish eating and pay, we decide to go to a little boutique a block or so down. As soon as we walk in I know I'll want every single piece of jewelry in the store; everything is beautiful. After about 15 minutes of searching I finally narrow my purchase down to a pair of earrings and a necklace. The necklace has a heart and an arrow charm on it. Emily found a bracelet that goes perfectly with her outfit. She's wearing gray skinny jeans, a Rolling Stones T-shirt (because she loves Harry's) and her red converse. My earrings don't really match what I have on so I put them in my purse, but the necklace I found completely ties together my white tee and daisy skirt with my black vans. I put it on and re-fix my hair in the mirror. Emily had curled her sandy mixed brown, blonde hair with my wand, but it was going a little flat.
---
We finally find a parking space at LP Field after about 20 minutes of searching, and walk anxiously towards the gates. Em is skipping and singing Best Song Ever. I have a feeling she going to freak out when she sees Harry on stage and realizes this is for-real. We start to walk down the stands to find our seats, and when I look out at the stadium I'm in awe. It's humungous and almost every seat is filled. I'm in such shock so don't see the coke bottle I step and slip on. Em turns around and sees me siting on the steps and runs to see what's wrong.
"What the crap happened?"
"Haha, well, there was a coke bottle and...."
"O my, you okay?"
"Haha yeah, I'm fine." I bet my face is the shade of Em's bright red shoes, but I continue walking down the stairs more careful this time. We finally find our seats which are a lot closer than I realized. Thanks mom and dad! We are about 5 rows back from the very front! I eventually get myself situated in my seat and examine the huge bruise that has just appeared on my left leg where I slipped and fell; luckily I'm not bleeding, just embarrassed. As we had walked in, music videos were playing, but now I hear the screams start to rise as the Our Moment perfume commercial plays. The commercial finishes and I check the time as the lights in the stadium start to dim. Before I know it, I hear the live intro of "She Looks so Perfect" and 5 Seconds of Summer walk out singing and playing their guitars. Ashton heads over to the drums, and of course, blows everyone out of the water with his talent. They sing almost all the songs on their newest album plus "Heartache on the Big-screen" and a cover of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream." I'm literally so excited for this band and I know they will make it far; I'm defiantly a fan. After they finish preforming, theirs a short break so Em and I decide to quickly grab a water and take a look at the band merch. I end up purchasing a One Direction sweat shirt and a 5sos black logo tee. We excitedly skip back to our seats not wanting to miss the opening song.
