CHAPTER 18: SIDE STORY YOONMIN

THEY'RE both happy. Napangiti si Jimin sa sarili n'ya dahil nakita n'ya ang sariling masaya sa kung sino ang pinili n'ya. Napatawa si Jimin nang makita n'yang napaupo si Yoongi sa court. Napailing s'ya.

"Love, I told you to break. Ang init-init na at di ka tapos?" Tanong n'ya rito, umiling naman ito at nakangiti sa kanya, binigya n'ya naman ito ng tubig.

"I am not yet done love. May practice ka din sa swimming di'ba?" Tanong neto sa kanya. Tumango naman s'ya.

"But I will be here for you. Don't worry." Nanlaki ang mata n'ya nang hinalikan s'ya neto sa mga labi.

"Kaya sa'yo ako eh." Kinindatan s'ya neto at bumalik ulit sa pagpractice ng basketball.

Their love is okay. They are contented. No hindrance. They just love each other. Isa lang alam n'ya-- mahal n'ya si Yoongi at wala s'yang makitang ibang tao na kasama n'ya, he made for him.

When they are not okay, they forgive each other, they are calm when it comes to their fights."I am fvckint jealous!"

"Damn! Kahit galit na galit ako sa'yo di ko pa din hahayaan tatalikuran mo ako." Niyakap s'ya neto ng mahigpit. Huminga naman s'ya ng malalim at hinarap ang lalaki.

"Look love, she is just my friend." Tumango naman ito and he kiss him and he obliged to kiss him too.

Walang araw na hindi sila nag-aaway, their relationship is not complete if they didn't bicker each other. Natatawa na lang s'yang naisip ang lahat ng 'yun.

"Love, come on smile." Sumimangot s'ya kay Yoongi na nakahawak ng camera.

"No! I told you I am not on the mood!" Naiinis n'yang sabi rito, pumunta ito sa harap n'ya at hinarap n'ya din naman ito. Ngumiti ito sa kanya.

"I love you, Park Jimin.." Suddenly he smile and then he capture him."There, there such a cutie."

Their relationship ruined. He saw Yoongi kissed another girl, he stilled when he look how Yoongi got affected with it. His heart aches. Nanlaki ang mata ni Yoongi nang makita s'ya. Tinulak neto ang babae at naguguluhang tinignan neto ang babae at s'ya. His tears flows in his eyes. He can't believe he cheated. He cheated.

"J-jimin." Lumapit ito sa kanya at nanginginig ang kamay netong gustong hawakan ang kamay n'ya, nilayo n'ya ang kamay rito.

"Why?" He ask. He wanted to shout out him but he can't. He can't. He knows he loves him so much.

"I h-have no excuses, please hear me." Nakita n'yang naiiyak din ito. Umiling s'ya.

"Who is she?" Kahit masakit ang dibdib n'ya ay nakuha n'ya pang magtanong.

"She is my ex." Sagot neto habang nakayuko. Napasapo s'ya sa noo at kagat labing pinikit ang mata.

"Y-you did was wrong! You still love her?" Nang hindi sumagot si Yoongi ay mas lalong nadagdagan ang sakit sa dibdib n'ya."Please tell me, did you still love her?"

"No. I d-don't know." He whisper. Umiling s'ya at naglakad na patalikod sa lalaki pero niyakap s'ya ni Yoongi sa likod. Like he always do. Like he used to do. But instead he feel warmth, he feel pain. It hurts so much knowing that he cheated.

"Y-you cheated on me and yet you have the guts to hug me?!" Umiiling ito sa likod n'ya but he still have strength to do detached his hands to him."Please just for now, let me love myself."

That day he realize not everyone will stay. Not everyone will true to you.

But the fate always keep on messing with him. He saw him again after all those years they departed. Hanggang sa interhigh may gana pa talaga itong sumali sa swimming competition.

"Why are you here? You played basketball and yet you are here?" Malamig na tanong n'ya rito. Ngumiti ito naman ito sa kanya.

"I changed. I tried to join this sport, when we didn't see each other I practice your sports and now this is already my hobby." Saka neto binigay sa kanya ang towel, kakatapos lang ng first round nila.

"Is that so? Goodluck and good for you." He said and leave but he hold his arms so he look at him."What?"

"Love.." Napapikit s'ya dahil ilang taon na din ang nakalipas. I am still affected. I am still in pain. Sumikip ang dibdib n'ya sa isiping 'yun. Hindi naman talaga s'ya nakalimot.

"Don't call me that. We are not the same anymore." He whisper. Tinignan n'ya ang mata ni Yoongi na tila naiiyak na, umiwas s'ya ng tingin at kinalas ang kamay neto sa kanya.

"Jimin, I am sorry." Umiling s'ya. If he really are sorry to him, he will do that and he will chase him before.

"Stop sayin' sorry. It doesn't change anything. We hurted each other once let's avoid to make it twice." Ayaw n'yang makita kung paano ito naapektuhan sa sinabi n'ya.

"Let's try it again. Please, I'm begging you." Hinawakan neto ang kamay n'ya. He felt the same when he first touched his hands. Walang nagbago, kami lang 'yung nagbago.

"P-please let's forget each other." Umalis na s'ya pero bago 'yun ay narinig n'ya ang huling sinabi neto.

"Love, please come back.. Come back to me. Please.." Narinig n'ya ang iyak neto, sapo-sapo n'ya ang bibig habang naglalakad upang di makawala ang hikbi n'ya.

He wanted to go back and hug him, he wanted to sat they can try it again but they're both needs space. They need to accept things and be mature. Lahat ng sakit ay may kapalit na matutunan. I learned to let other people go.

"Why you didn't accept it? You still love him?" Narinig n'yang tanong ni V sa kanya. Tumango s'ya."Then why?"

"Hindi pa ako buo. Bago ko buoin ang iba bubuoin ko muna ang sarili ko, I can't give him the love like what I can give to him before. I am still in pain." He said. Tumango naman ito."I miss him. I miss him so much. How I wanted to go back to him but you know I can't. We both needs space."

Ang pagmamahal na makikita natin sa isang tao ay masarap sa pakiramdam sa kung paano nila pinanindigan. If we really love someone we learn how to let them go, to let them do what they want. Maybe because they're not complete when they love each other.

We met at the wrong time and at the wrong place. I never thought that we will end up like this. It hurts but maybe-- we need it. We need it. We deserve space.

They deserve space. The space where they didn't include each other. Yoongi is his the biggest what if..
