The bed was too small for two people and Sakura slept curled up next to him. Syaoran sat combing through her hair as she slept peacefully. The last time he slept beside her, they were in senior secondary. Neither was her hair this long, nor were her words and fingers cold as ice.

His eyes went up to the bear he had given her as a sign of love when he was moving back to Hong Kong. The more he looked around the room, the more he found things he could recognise - The picture from their day out to shop, the old phone Tomoyo had given to each of them, the stuffed toy Touya had won for her.

He covered his face with his hand. How could he let this happen? Quietly, he crawled out of bed, Sakura curled up with the loss of the warmth behind her. Quickly he changed into his clothes, took one last look at Sakura and left.

Sakura woke up with the sound of her alarm, she had already taken a day off the previous day so she couldn't skip work again. As memories slowly appeared of what happened last night, her face lit up a bright red.

She looked around the room and noticed that Li was gone

She looked around the room and noticed that Li was gone. His side of the bed still had the impression of his tall figure. Sakura let out a slight sigh as she put on her top.

"The cards!" Sakura rushed to the drawer and opened it. Luckily the cards were well hidden under Kero's tiny make-shift bed. Kero was still drooling holding his pillow. She quickly changed into her uniform, left a plate of bread and butter for Kero and ran to the metro station.
