A/N: I hope you enjoy this story :D

It was a rainy, silent night in New York City, or at least that's what it would appear like to the human eye.  In reality, there were lost souls wandering about, witches casting hexes, and demons lurking near weak humans.  Most people thought things such as witches, demons, fairies, and sirens didn't exist. Who would blame them they're from fairytales? The fairytales are true of course but humans don't need to know that. Imagine how scared humans would be when they find out that these fictional beings were in fact very real. If humans knew what was really behind the stories and superstitions things would be bad.

This is what Evangeline (Eve) was taught since she was a tiny witch throwing poison darts at pixies. No matter how many of the magical beings despised each other they all agreed on one rule... Do not expose yourself or the community to the eye of a human.

Eve never wanted to picture what would happen if humans found out that the stories they read to their kids were in fact true. That's why when she was caught by her now-deceased ex-boyfriend casting a protection spell over his room, her whole world came crashing down.

" E-E-ve your eyes ." her boyfriend whimpered backing away from the witch as her body seemed to emit a purple hue. As soon as Eve saw him there she knew everything was over, mostly for him because her coven was gonna take his life. "I'm sorry babe," she whispered before jolting her boyfriend into his door causing him to pass out.

Eve closed her eyes trying to ignore the salty water pouring down her face, and grabbed her boyfriend's body, disappearing into thin air taking him to her coven.

The next time Eve saw his body again after turning him in was in her bedroom with his body stretched out on a bed. The chest that she loved to snuggle up against now cut wide open presenting his decaying organs, and fatty tissue. His tan skin was now a sickly blueish color, and the whole room smelled like death.

Her coven had cut his heart out. She knew it was gonna happen but it still hurt. She walked closer but was stopped when a green flash appeared in front of her.

" What the hell were you thinking Evangeline! you broke the most important rule." The witch yelled. Eve felt her tears pricking her eyes begging to be released again. She loved her boyfriend with her whole heart, even if he was just a human she loved him so much, and seeing him lifeless with his heart gone broke her. "I'm sorry mom." Eve whimpered.

" Leave, you knew what you were doing this is the 2nd time Evangeline! The coven and the other beings can't allow you to stay here when you're a threat to us." her mother yelled.

The next thing Eve knew she was on a flight to Seoul banished from her coven for breaking the only rule.
