Prologue

It's official! Ya girl is off to college!!

"Woohoo!" Sigaw ko sabay hagis ng graduation cap.

Click. Click.

I looked in front and smiled.

Click.

Hawak ng kuya ko ang camera nya at naka-focus sa akin. He is my designated photographer for this special day.

It's graduation day!

Pinagitnaan ako ni Mama at Papa and we all smiled at the camera.

I'm sooo happy! Ang sakit na ng cheeks ko dahil kanina pa ako nakasmile ever since nagstart na kami ng mga friends ko mag take ng pictures. I'm gonna miss them kahit alam kong nagpromise kami sa isa't isa na mag meet occasionally at mag stay in touch.

Kinuha ni Papa ang camera mula kay Kuya at sya naman ang kumuha ng picture namin. I linked my right arm with his left and held the bouquet he gave me tighter with my left arm. I love that he knows what my favorite flowers are!

After taking pictures, we finally left the venue then proceeded to celebrate.

Excited na 'ko pumasok as a college student! I've heard a lot of stories about the experiences of others in college, and I'm determined to make my own.

I'll choose and decide on my own what happens to me in college, and I'll make sure to make the most out of my four years!

I was so sure and planned ahead of what I'll do in college. I wanted to experience many things... but not everything goes the way we planned them to be, right?

That's what I learned later on.

I've experienced some of the things I wanted to, but I've also experienced things I'd never imagined I would.

I've met people who gave me happiness, but those same people also gave me sadness. I've made a lot of precious memories with them, both good and bad.

And the best thing is?

I will never regret experiencing them.

They helped me learn.

They helped me grow.

They helped me become a person whom the past me could look up to.

This is the beginning of my freshman year in college, and how I met a handful of people that made it a crazy heck of a ride.

And you'll all be watching from the front seat.
