Seoyoon's POV

I woke up as the sunlight shine through the blinds of my window.
I immediately grabbed my phone in hopes of receiving a good morning text from the person I most expect it from.
Unfortunately, I didn't. A slight disappointment appeared on my face, but then I remembered, he could have slept in.

great, we just got back together last night and here I am, acting like a freak girlfriend.

I stretched my body out and finally stood up from my bed to wash my face.
I then, went downstairs.

"Morning mom." I smiled.

"Goodmorning love." She smiled back and gave me a kiss on the cheeks.

"How was your date last night?" She winked.
Right, I haven't really told her about what had happened last night.

"It was great." I smiled hugely.

"That's good to know" She winked.
It was pretty weird how she didn't even asking about the details of what happened last night.
Usually she would bug me until she hears the whole story.
Could it be that she already knows?

"Morning, Mrs.Park" I heard a familiar voice sang.
I looked back to see my Cousin, Jaehwan Oppa.

"Hi!" I greeted excitedly and gave him a hug.
I haven't seen him in awhile although he's been around Korea.
Well as I did say, I've been pretty busy with work and so was he.
I guess our time now aren't as flexible as it used to be.
Growing up, it sucks.

"I guess now you won't be wondering why your mom isn't asking you about last night." He laughed.

I don't get it.

"Jihoon was unusually happy last night." He teased and sat beside me.

"Oh.." I slightly blushed.
I guess Jihoon told him and he told mom.
Now I get it.

"It was the first time he ever laughed and smiled like that in awhile." He continued to speak.
I was still blushing as he told the story of what went on last night.
I guess I made Jihoon that happy.
And that also explains why I still haven't gotten any texts from him.
Jaehwan Oppa said he was dead drunk last night.

"No but, I'm so happy for you." He smiled.

"Thank you." I chuckled.

"When is the wedding then?" My mom interfered.

"So suddenly?" Jaehwan oppa laughed.

"No weddings yet mom. Not yet for now." I rolled my eyes and looked over to Jaehwan Oppa.

"You're right, no rush." She laughed.

"Does Jinyoung know?" Suddenly, the mood went down.
Although I didn't understand why.

"Uh no. Not yet." I replied a little confused.

" You think he'd be okay?" He asked a little concerned.
I didn't think it even occurred to me that Jinyoung would be hurt by this. I don't think Jinyoung would react in a bad way or anything at all.

"Of course.. why wouldn't he be?" I chuckled, still a little muddled.

"Nothing, I was just asking." he then laughed.
Somehow the awkward vibe lessened and we went back to how we were.

Speaking of Jinyoung though, I should probably tell him and Hyunjae.
They'd be upset if I kept something like this for a day or two.
I immediately sent a message to our group chat, asking them if thy were free for lunch.
I instantly got a reply from the both of them and discussed our meeting time
and place.

***

I was finally done getting ready and updated both Jinyoung and Hyunjae about leaving the house soon.
They replied that they were about to leave as well.
With that, I waved goodbye to the people at home and headed towards the car.
I told our driver the place we were gonna meet in and finally drove away.

-

"Heyy." I smiled to the two of them.
Turns out I was the one who was late.
There was an unuasual traffic today which I didn't expect.
We first spent our time talking about how my presentation went and had our lunch before I got onto what I really came to tell them.

"So how was your night?" Hyungjae curiously asked.

"It was amazing." I blushed.

"Details." She laughed.

"Well I- okay I- I have something to say." I didn't even know why I was nervous.
It's not like i'm gonna have anything bad to say or something.
Still, I was nervous.

"Spill it."

"Last night..well- Jihoon and I we...kissed." I shyly said.
Hyunjae's face lit up with the news and began squeezing my hands as her feet excitedly wiggle.
Jinyoung however, didn't look impressed.

"Omg!! Was it like out of nowhere??" She excitedly asked.

"No uh we..we got back together." I smiled.
Hyunjae's lost it.
She was squealing in the restaurant, not caring whether people were looking.

"I knew it! I knew it!" She happily said and stood up from her seat as she gave me a hug.

"Oh i'm so happy for you!!" She squeezed me even harder.
I was glad that this was how she reacted to my news.
At first I thought she wouldn't be too happy with the news.
But there was one person who has been unresponsive the whole time.

"Aren't you gonna say something?" I looked over to Jinyoung who hasn't said a word.

"Oh yeah, congratulations." He fake smiled.
Hyunjae and I exchanged a look of confusion.
What was going on?

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"I'm fine. I guess i'm just having a light headache." He reasoned.
I knew he was lying but i'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt.

"Is there anything you need or-"

"I just uh, I want to head home. Maybe I just need some rest." He weakly smiled.

"Right..sure.." I sadly smiled.

"Do you want me to drop you off?" I asked.
Hoping he would accept my offer.

"No, thank you. You girls have fun." He smiled before standing up to leave.
I was pretty upset at how Jinyoung acted.
But at the same time, I was confused.
Was there something I said that he didn't liked?
Did I do something?

"Aren't you gonna go after him?" Hyunjae asked.
I didn't know what to do.
I didn't understand what was going on.
Why was he being like this?

"I'll be fine. You need to talk to him." She reassured.
I gave a her a nod and finally ran after Jinyoung.
He wouldn't have gone that far.
