Those words left unsaid,
A farewell to a father,
With eyes stained red,
It lingered in her head,
Those thoughts that kept repeating,
Of that frozen moment,

Sorrow that still remained,
From the moment she got that call,
It lingered in her soul,
A missing piece that would never heal,
Of a loss that stayed,
And a pain she would always feel.
